We are very excited to be eating for the first time at Raglan Rd the night we arrive into the WORLD. Any details you can provide about your experience would be most appreciated! Thanks!

:surfweb:

We ate there in June and all of our party agree it was the best meal we had while we were there. We booked an early dinner, around 5:00 I believe, and because it wasn't yet busy the service was great. I had the salmon and it was delicious, the choices on the children's menu were very good compared to the other restaurants we had been to. Others in our party had the pork and a filet and said it was great. We didn't stay long enough to see the dancers, it was our first day there and my children were anxious to get back to our resort and check it out. The most important thing to know about Raglan Road is this: ORDER THE BREAD PUDDING!!! I still have dreams about it.:thumbsup2

DH and I love Raglan Road. Depending on what time your ADR is at, you may be able to see the Irish Dancer and live Irish band which just make the experience that much cooler!
They have a great beer selection (and Strongbow cider...mmm...), and the menu options are wonderful! We've eaten there 3 times, and I have never been disappointed. The it's not bleeding chowda is incredible if you're a seafood fan, and yes, the bread pudding is DIVINE!!! :cloud9:

We ate at Ragland Road for the first time back in June and we loved it. Dh and I both wondered why in the world we had never eaten there before?

We shared a few things (calamari, caeser salad, cheeseburger, bread pudding) and it was all delicious.

We lucked out and were seated right near the Irish dancers (we made the request when we checked in) and it was just a wonderful evening. We will for sure be back!

This is one of our favorite places to go. My husband was trying to talk me into eating there every other day in fact. Like another said, Bleedin Chowda is the BEST! I am VERY BIG on manners....... But I could have licked my bowl clean!:lmao:

RR is a must do every trip. The scallop forest is are favorite app. anywhere.

We enjoyed it! For me, its pretty typical of what we find here (at home), but it's on my ressie list for our trip next week! Love it! It does get loud, however for us, it's a small break from the mouse :)

Add us to the love it list :lovestruc We tried it for the first time last year and when we planned our return trip this year, we all agreed that this would be a revisit.

I had the risotto with shrimp.....dh had steak......kids both had burgers and we loved it all! The desserts are awesome too. I had the bread pudding and am planning on getting it again for sure!

The dancers were really cool too...the kids really enjoyed the entertainment.

Have fun:goodvibes

DW and I ate here a few years ago. We had a great meal. Food was awesome but the service was a little lacking. This could have been because we were on the DDP and, at the time, tip was included.

We'd definitely give it another shot. We enjoyed our meal.

What time does the music and the dancer begin? My older two kids just started taking Irish Dance lessons and I think they would love to see that. I do have an ADR there already, but it's for lunch so I'd like to change it so we can see that. Thanks!

It varies but Live Entertainment starts about 7:00pm - 7:30 pm to midnight, with Irish dancers and an Irish band (duo). They perform 6 nights a week Mon-Sat.

edit: If you are going in September 5-Oct 1 the regular entertainers will not be there. An Irish Ballad Group 'Na Fianna' will be the music. There will still be dancers but the featured dancer, Danielle Fitzpatrick will not be there.

Not sure when the dancing begins, but my Unofficial guide says the band starts playing in the early evening and the dancers come and go. We went around 5:00 and the band hadn't started yet. So, if you change your ressie, go for later than that. BTW, DH and I loved our food there!

Just ate there for the first time in June. Loved it! I had a burger and it was one of the best I have had, especially in WDW. We are going there again for our November trip!

Enjoy! :goodvibes

There are some sections of the restaurant with zero view of the dancing. We were seated in one of these areas. So that made it worse for the kids as they knew something was going on, but couldn't see it. The food was fine, a different change of pace from the usual Disney based fare.
