Radisson Resort Parkway?

We have never stayed offsite before, but we are staying at the Radisson Resort Parkway this time around. We have less than two weeks before we leave and I was wondering if anyone has stayed there. Did we choose well?? Also, according to the map I looked at, there is a Costco on the way to the hotel from the airport. Is it easy to get to and out of? I thought we could stop and pick up snacks and water. I can't wait to go and I'll be sure to give my two cents on the hotel when we get back.

Sounds like we'll be there around the same time (DW and I are staying there 9/1-9/5). This will be our first time there as well, but I've heard nothing but positive reviews so far. Only negatives I've heard more than once: bathrooms are small, shuttle service to parks is inconvenient.

We stayed there this past December and it's a lovely resort. Although I do agree that the shuttle was most inconvient, I disagree about the bathrooms. They are certainly much larger that those in Disney resorts. Have fun. I think you'll truely enjoy the hotel.

The Costco is on OBT. If you are taking the 417 to Disney, you will need to get of on OBT and go a few blocks north to the Costcos. If is not far out of the way.

It is very easy to get from the Radisson Parkway to WDW if you have a car. As Josh pointed out, many people feel the shuttle is not the best transportation option.

Also, if you run out of water etc, there is a Publix supermarket only a couple of blocks away.

Thank you both for your replys. We are renting a car because I had heard the the shuttle service isn't that great. I would be the person missing the last shuttle of the day. The resort looks beautiful and I can't wait to get there. We will be there 8/30-9/7.

Lucky you. We still have 2 months and 5 days to go before we leave. We're trying the Radission LBV this trip in the hope the shuttle service is better and we'll be fairly close to DTD from what I can tell. After years of staying on Disney property, DH made a career change 2 years a go and now works for Radission. With his employee discount Disney just can't come anywhere near what we pay at a Radission. I still miss DXL however. Again have a wonderful time, but that not hard to do when your in the World.
