We need a hotel for one night in November before we move in to Old Key West. I have seen the reviews on Mousesavers for the Radisson Resort Parkway and Hotel Royal Plaza.

Since we will only stay one night, we are mostly interested in how easy it is to get two kids and all our stuff from the van to the room. Is this more easily accomplished at one hotel than the other?

After a 10+ hour day driving, the last thing we want to do is make several long hikes to the van.

Thanks for any advice!

I stayed at the Radisson and liked the hotel but at the time the bus service was a bus to the TTC and then you had to catch Disney buses. This bus was a shuttle to a number of hotels and it took a long time.
Recently when I thought I might stay there, I called the Hotel Plaza and they said that they had buses to each individual park. They are next door to Downtown Disney area and probably have better transportation.
These are at least some questions to call and ask them. They may use Disney transportation.

Waiting for that Radisson bus forever after the fireworks was not fun!
If you drive your car, you have to pay to park and go through the trams, etc...

Sorry, disregard my last post. I didn't read your post very well, did I?

Call them up on the phone - the parking lot of the hotel plaza looks pretty close. I have driven by it lots of times. The Radisson is more spread out because of landscaping.
