Radisson - reservations for shuttle?

I have reservations to stay at the Radisson the night before our cruise. I called to make reservations for the shuttle the next day but was told I do not need them since I have the cruise package (allowed to park at hotel while on cruise). I know others have said they have shuttle reservations at 10AM.

Should I be calling the hotel back to get a time set on the shuttle or does it really not matter? Anyone out there have experience with this?

TIA

Katy

I too am staying at Radisson the night before, and when speaking to them, they told me no problem, there are plenty of shuttles, Just go to the desk in the morning or night you check in, and reserve a shuttle time then.

I called months ahead to reserve the shuttle at 10am. Turns out that out of 30 or 40 seats, only about 6 of them were filled. It did not seem to be a big deal at all. Now, we were a group of 10 so I wanted to be SURE we had seats.

We just returned from the 1/16 Wonder and stayed at the Raddison the night before. You must call and get your name on the shuttle list ASAP. They told us we didn't need to until we got there and ended up on the 12:30 shuttle over which is much too late. The line to check-in to the cruise and childrens program registration took about 1 hour plus. People started boarding the ship at around 11am. If you rent a car return it while you are on the cruise. They have shuttles to take you to the port and back again once you return.

I just made reservations at the Radisson for March 5th. When I was switched to teh front desk I was told they don't take reservations until 7 days before. Should I just keep calling until someone actually will sign me up now? I keep seeing conflicting stories on this, do they in fact take them 40 days out?

Same as above...I was told you didn't need to make ressies then I find out that the early shuttles book up and fill up fast. A friend ended up waiting until 12noon for a shuttle because of no ressie. When I called them they told me I would have to wait until I got there :guilty: . Well on these boards I read horror stories about not making a reservation. So I called back and this time I did not ask, I insisted. I simply said "I need to reserve my shuttle time for 10:30am". No problem that time and ressie is made. Even if it wouldn't be full, it is peace of mind that counts for me.

:boat: 15 days and counting til the most "WONDER"ful cruise!! :Pinkbounc

We booked our Radisson shuttle time months before our cruise last Nov. Others in our group were told they had to wait til closer. I suggest you keep calling back til you get someone who will book it for you. We were on the 10am shuttle but we didn't to the ship til 10:30ish. We had 3 people that we had to drop off at the Holland America ship that was also in port.

try again if you wish to reserve in advance before youget there. I was able to reserve the 10:00 am shuttle when I booked the room about 3 months ago.

I am with the other posters--call until you get someone who will schdule you. We made our ressies months in advance. We went during a very busy NE vacation school week. Our 10:30 shuttle was full. We met people at the pool the night before and they were on the 1:45 shuttle because they waited. The difference is--we by 1:45 were on the ship, had our lunch, walked around the ship and played ping pong with the kids. CALL BACK!!

I made reservations for Feb 5 about 6 weeks ago. We have a group of 17 and are on the first shuttle at 10:00. I'd keep calling.
