Radio Shack - DS Lite

A friend was looking for a Nintendo DS Lite. I remembered having read here a while back about Radio Shack having them clearanced for $75. Today I looked up Radio Shack's website and they are still listed at that price under clearance. We saved that page to her phone and off we went. We started at a nearby Radio Shack. The person who waited on us looked it up in the computer, found the $75 price but neither that store nor any in the district had any in stock. We headed to Target to see if they would price match. The had some DS Lites but we were told that they needed to see a paper ad. We then went to Sears. They had a pink DS Lite for $99 and after the employee checked the Radio Shack website from their computer, he price matched it for the $75 price plus took off an extra 10% which he said is Sears' policy. I later saw that the posts on this topic were from last year but we were successful in our price matching. Thanks to the DIS boards!

Glad you got a great deal!!

Not sure about last year, but there was a bunch of us on a thread here a few weeks ago that were able to snag some DSi's for $79, from Radio Shack (or price matched at Wal-Mart).

Love the DIS and the Budget Board. It's such a help!
