Radio Disney

Hi guys we are leaving tomorrow to Disney World!!!! I'm coming from New Orleans and I was wondering if anyone could tell me the station for the Disney World Radio. I'm not even sure if they have it anymore. Also, how close do you have to be to Disney in order to get a reception? Thanks only 12 more hours til we hit the road!!!!

I am from the New Orleans area and when we travel to Disney or anywhere, we have on 1450 AM which is Radio Disney. Hope this helps some. Have a great time!!

Yes, Radio Disney is WDYZ AM 990 in Orlando. The sad thing is that the reception for Radio Disney gets worse the closer you get to WDW. You'd think they'd up the wattage or whatever so that a strong signal is broadcast over the promised land. (We can pick it up great near the airport and near Universal though.)

We are coming from KY. Any idea at what point we might be able to pick Disney Radio up???? My kids want me to make them another Disney CD for the trip. They would LOVE to be able to listen to the actual station as we get closer. TIA

If you go to the radio disney website www.radiodisney.com you can put in the areas you'll be going through and find out what stations they are on.

If you were to get XM Satellite radio, you can listen to radio disney coast to coast. XM is the best in my opinion, ive had it since it came out.
