Woo hoo! Congrats to one and all!
And to Disney as well for pulling over an excellent event for such a huge number of people with a minimum of issues (in my opinion!)
It was an Awesome Event! My first Marathon, and I am, frankly, just so proud of myself! (It was the Dopey for me, I missed 5k, but did the other 3 and got the 5 medals.... will do 5k tomorrow for myself)
A friend was running for a charity, and we stuck together for the entire Half and most of the Full:
I lost him at the overpass before DHS (don't like bridges, but can manage at a fast run & looking down! Generally I don't do the run & weave thing, but bridges I do! Sorry if I cut in front of any of you!)
Don't have any complaints other then minor aches & soreness!
Had my recovery lunch with in the cold bath that waited for me at the resort, and then an Epson salt bath after.
Just rubbed my legs with Voltaren, and thinking of heading to Downtown Disney.(although, I notice Spice Road open at EPCOT!!)
I'm on my own, as friend who I ran with is with his crowd for the evening.
Any DisMeetups this evening? Think I'd like that.

Although I would say that I ran more than 60% of the race on the grass which was a bit difficult at times as it tended to slope more the further off the road you got, especially where the course narrowed a bit. I also did run into a few fire ant hills early on in the dark that us FL residents know all too much about, but luckily no bites that I can see. According to my run app I ended up doing 13.5 miles due to zigzagging in and around the crowds
