Just wanted to let you know that our local PBS station, WNED-Buffalo, is doing one of their many fund drives this week. I would think that other cities might be doing it as well.
Last evening they had 2 awesome documentaries about Italy on.
They shows are called: Visions of Italy - one is Northern Italy the other is Southern Italy. They run for 1 &1/2 hours (with pledge breaks)each.
The unique feature of them is that they were done entirely from the air - giving you a bird's eye view of the cities and countryside.
They are being re-broadcast, back to back, this Saturday(9/25) afternoon starting at 2:30pm. Well worth setting your DVRs for
