I was just wondering how many DISer's shop on QVC? I LOVE so much of the items they have on QVC? Sometimes I find myself watching it just to watch it instead of regular TV! I like two hostesses Lisa Mason and Lisa Robertson!

I would like to know just how many watch and purchase items from QVC!

Who is/are your fav HOSTS? AND lastly, WHAT do you buy from QVC?

I love their Diamonique and I love their Denim & Co.!!!

Okay, while you answer this question, I am going S H O P P I N G :rotfl: !!!!!

:sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

I don't buy too much but lately I have been buying a lot of the Vare escentuals makeup from them. The prices are so great I just can't help myself.

No, but my Discover card did without me! Someone got my card number, my name, and my address and made a couple purchases, along with other purchases. A PC company got wise and called us. They were having the items "gift shipped" to an address in Michigan, so hopefully they caught the bozo. :sad2: But that doesn't really answer your question! :rotfl:

I used to work in Order Entry for QVC... and then we moved :( It was a fabulous job. I was surrounded by DH and all his military buddies all the time. It was my girl-time out as most of the operators were women. There was that sense of community within the workplace.

We all loved the "Diva"- Lisa Robertson. She's a sweetheart in real life, too.

When I worked there, it was awesome for Christmas-time! We could place the orders sitting at our terminal! :rotfl: And the discount wasn't half bad!

My favorites were the Diamoniques- stellar quality for a real bargain; the Home Shows- I love the neat gadgets and cleaning instruments; and the food. We had switched into a food show while I was on a very long and tedious call. When I got binged in for the show I read the item description as "Hors de vors" We had even been warned about NOT doing that in training! I couldn't keep it together- and neither could the caller. The people around me (it was late... like midnight on a Friday/Saturday... and a lot of us had been there since 6 or 8) were, literally, howling.

How I miss those days!

Ooooh. Watch this. This started happening last holiday time. I know they cracked down and made people start verifying their purchases nearly every day (usually, you verify once for the season). At the branch I was in, the problem was coming out of Louisiana. I was on the receiving end of several of the identity theft calls. Not pleasant and I felt so badly for them.

In all likelihood, whoever it was was having the send-to shipping sent right to their door or to a work address. They're just not that smart most of time...

I do shop there sometimes. But I watch a lot. Not sure why  Even though I know they are just selling stuff, I find the shows very infomative. I love watching the Beauty/Makeup shows. That is how I got started on Bare Essentials.

I have been watching since the beginning when they switched over from that other network, CVN I think? Mary Beth Rowe was on there at that time. She is one of my favorites. Lisa Robertson makes me laugh, and speaking of laughs, I LOVE Jane Brown's laugh!

The PC place got smart because the idiots used an e-mail address that they'd used in a past fraudulent purchase. We did get 2 letters from QVC telling us that they couldn't verify our purchases and to call them, so I guess they knew something wasn't on the up and up, too. Either that or everything hadn't gone through when we notified Discover about the charges.

My DH thinks that my computer had (has) spyware, which is how they got my info. Yikes!

I've bought off their web site, but have never watched the TV channel.

Some of the hosts are a hoot!! I like the Jim Shore, Bare Minerals, Philosophy, and Denim and Co. shows... and probably a few others... ;)

Probably a lot more than I should. :thumbsup2

The most expensive thing I ever bought there was a $1500 king size Bodipedic mattress which is the best thing I have ever slept on in my life! I have a broken disc in my back and since I bought this mattress set I have not had a backache. I originally bought the queen size, and when I changed my mind and wanted the king, they paid for someone to come and collect the queen and ship it back at no charge to me. Their customer service is unbeatable.

I also buy a lot of their clothes, and I think the most recent thing I bought was a Titanium knife set and storage block which completely blows my old Wusthoff Trident set out of the water, At about a tenth of the price too!

I've even returned things past the 30 day cutoff and they have never given me a problem.

It makes my day to see the UPS guy coming up the walkway with a QVC box. I just love to watch David eat, eat, and eat on the specialty food shows.

I love QVC and look forward all week to Saturday's AM Style and the hosts on there. I feel like I know the models too! Here's my Saturday shout out to all the QVC DISers!
I live in a small town so people always comment on the clothing, purses, shoes, ewtc... I get on QVC - it is unique in our area. I also like the special holiday theme shows. Never miss the St. Patrick's Day one or Halloween.

raising hand sheepishly. I have to make an effort not to watch because they always have great stuff. I bought a freedom bag luggage set, Bob Timberlake stuff, Philosophy perfume, the list goes on and on.

It is dangerous. :rotfl2:

I posted earlier that I do watch

Do people make fun of you because you watch/shop off QVC? I always feel like some of my friends think it is stupid to buy things off home shopping channels.

NO! not me, anyway. I have a number of good friends that all shop QVC. My sis loves WHITE MOUNTAIN shoes/sandals. I also love all the Philosophy lines of colognes and body creams. I also love their St. Paddy's Day Special. I love that SHOE SHOW Special they have I think in October for breast cancer. I love the SAK handbags. I have so many friends watching QVC that we sit around discussing the different hosts and hostesses. And I do have one friend that buys NOTHING on QVC but her head is ALWAYS spinning when the rest of discuss it all....like she feels "out of the loop"... :rotfl:

I have been a QVC shopper since I was 16. Made my first purchase with my first checking account with them.

I have always wanted to buy Diamonique.

As for hosts, I like David Venable. yes, I think he is hot.

Oh I LOVE QVC!!!!

Quacker Factory.... :cheer2:
I think everything in my house is from QVC.. pots & pans, camera , TV, my Dell, Christmas ornaments, shoes, ..

DID I Metion I LOVE QVC>>>

I'm a QVC shopper. I just bought a Susan Graver summer dress two nights ago, about three in the morning. :teeth: I keep the television on while I sleep. QVC is usually on (unless I was watching South Park or M*A*S*H before I fell asleep) and if I wake up for some reason I always take a peek to see what's on. :teeth:

I buy all my sterling silver jewelry from QVC (I love the first day of March!), love the quality. I also buy Denim and Company clothing more than any other clothing line, I love the fit and styles. I'm a teacher ... I have to buy Quacker Factory sweaters or t-shirts for holidays. ;)

I don't know any of the hosts, but we are loyal customers. We buy all sorts of things ... kitchen gadgets, Northern Nights uncrushable pillows, clothing, shoes, jewelry, gourmet treats etc. My favorite QVC buys ... my bed and last month my first digital camera with all sorts of bells and whistles that comes with a photo printer. Easy pay. Gotta love it. :teeth:

I have to admit that the vast majority of things I own come from QVC. It's not all my fault though...my mother is totally addicted. I think I was the only college student living in a dorm who watched QVC! :rotfl2: The UPS guy knows us by name. We even got the neighbors to start buying stuff. We buy clothes, furniture, food, everything. My favorite is Denim & Co,Northern Nights, Dialogue, Diamonique, Proactiv, Valerie Parr Hill and Quacker Factory.

I love Lisa Robertson too. When she comes on my dad says "Hellloooo LISA!" :rotfl:

We get Christmas, Thanksgiving and birthday cards signed by all the hosts. Does anyone else get that, or do you have to be seriously addicted like us?

LOL! I get the cards also.

I started watching when I was home alone nights because DH used to work shifts at the firehall. 15 years later, I still watch. Not as often as I used to.

I have Cooks Essentials pots and pans, Bare Escentuals makeup, Johnathan haircare, a few pieces of Denium and Co., I buy all my gold jewelry from Eterna Gold (you just can't beat the prices, product and guarentee).

One of my favorite purchases was a WeedHound many moons ago. Now you can buy them at Walmart.
I love my Freedom bags (I don't think they sell them anymore). I still take them to WDW every trip.

Yes, I love QVC's quality,value & convenience.
