QVC...Does Anyone SHOP on QVC??? (besides me..ugh...)

I used to enjoy Çathy LeVine when she was with QVC, especially at Christmas when she would do the food items and when she and Joan Rivers got together. She was always so funny.

Have only purchased one item (just a couple of months ago) and that was spring flowers by Tatouage . Did wonders for my hard-to-decorate kitchen nook wall. They are beautiful.

I watch occasionally...comes in spurts! I have gotten Philosophy, a few things from Denim and Company, and a few doo-dads and gee-gaws! I LOVE Mrs. Prindable's Apples. oh my!! I like David Venerable, too. Can't think of the female's names, but I can see their faces. We also like Bob of In the Kitchen with Bob.

I love QVC!! I don't buy a whole lot and sometimes I just watch it just to watch. My latest and greatest purchase was the TSV of the Space Bags. They are awesomes!!!!! I can't believe how much stuff I can fit into my closet now. I liked them so much I had to order another set. You should see how excited I get sucking the air out of those jumbo size ones with the vacuum :lmao:

I always wind up sending things back!

But, I have gotten some nice gold chains and I love Nick Chavez shampoo!

QVC is great. I don't do HSN..

Nick Chavez.. love it.. I FLOCK daily! Oh and those Chesapeak Gourmet CRABCAKES WOW!!!
Bare Escentuals and Philosophy.. I shop QVC because some of the prices are better than retail or web...
Stainless steel 500 pans.. got the set, really like it alot
Lots of other stuff too. I have gotten some really nice silver and gold jewelry pieces that were very affordable.

I am NOT a fan of Bob.. for some reason he grates on my bad nerve..

I love DAVID!! He is so cute and funny. I like Jane too...

St. Patrick's Day is a QVC EVENT for me! LOL.. yup I did some serious damage this year.

I have spoken on air once.. it was fun.

My biggest QVC question??

WHY does the Quacker Factory Lady.. Jeanne Bice, wear those headbands???

OMG!!! The Quacker Factory lady!!! :rotfl:

Have you seen the MADtv parody of the Quacker Factory lady?!? It is hilarious!! I cannot look at the real lady on QVC without thinking of the skits about her on MADtv. (I think you can see some photos at www.madtv.com and the comedian Nicole Parker is the cast member who imitates her.) :lmao: :lmao:

Of all the shows on QVC, I like Quacker Factory the least. I mean, who buys those sweaters!? Obviously they sell well because she is on frequently, but they are so tacky IMO.

Has anyone tried the Ojon line? I'm thinking of ordering it, it's on right now.

My DW buys a LOT of stuff from QVC. She collects Marie Osmond porcelain dolls. She buys a lot of clothes and jewelry from QVC as well.

I'll have to admit....Marie Osmond is still pretty nice on the eyes. :cool1:

I like QVC better than HSN. I think QVC is higher quality and has better customer service. One time I had an Imperial Gold ring that had a link come out. They are supposed to have a lifetime warranty from the company, so I called them to get information on who to contact. They still had it in stock so they replaced it. It was 2 years old! I recently bought a pair of princess cut diamonique earrings, everyone assumes they are the real thing (not big, 1 ct each I think). I also recently got a pair of Marcon shoes that I love. When I was in Minneapolis for work, I went to the Mall of America Store. I walked out with a leather coat and a diamonique bracelet!

I can thank QVC for freeing me of yukky makeup and introducing me to Bare Eccentials. Love  the stuff!! Diamonique is the highest quality cubic zirconia I have ever seen and I love my studs. As said by a previous poster they have the best deal on Birksenstocks and the largest selection which is how I got started on my collection. I wonder what would happen if they started carrying Crocs?? :rotfl2: I've got a few pairs of White Mountain sandals. They got me started on 300 thread count sheet sets cause I just had to find out the difference for myself and don't let me get started on Northern Nights down feather pillows. :woohoo: We have repeatedly had the Kansas City steaks and burgers. They are the best. My only complaint with QVC is they really don't sell much in the way of the trends as far as clothing goes. They seem to just stick with classic styles which is fine but I think they need to add more to the mix. I have noticed that when they do have an item that is of the current trent it is gone before it ever airs. I do watch HSN for their clothes because I sew for myself and they offer great styles that are with the trends along with the classics. I half to admit their clothes are gorgeous and I have gotten some great ideas. :scratchin

I almost forgot about my most favorite QVC item! I LOVE my Ecllissi Sterling Changeable Strap Watch with 10 straps (item #J71247). I wear this watch every day and I love changing the straps to match what I am wearing. It makes it look like I have lots of watches!! :thumbsup2

I love QVC! :thumbsup2

I make the mistake of watching it on Sunday evenings as I'm folding laundry! :rotfl:

I especially like the Diamonique collections. Last Fall I purchased a bezel set tennis bracelet. It has become one of my favorite pieces. It is a very believable size and I always get compliments whenever I wear it. No one asks if it's real and I don't volunteer that information! ;)

Honest to goodness, in Order Entry, you cringe when Jeanne Bice comes on. You're guarenteed to be in queue with atleast 1000 people waiting. That means no sooner do you say, "Thank you for calling QVC," then the next caller is on the line. Fron our end, that combined with the quacking is just frustrating! Can't even get a drink of water.

I will let you in on a little secret- it's mostly the large sizes of the sweaters that sell out. I think it's becuase they are offered in the sizes, fit well, and are good quality. I never liked the pricing on them.

A large majority of the QVC purchasing power is older women who know what size and style they wear. Why fix something that isn't broken? is the thinking. They trendy stuff does have a tendency to sell out, but I've only on rare occasions seen it sell out before it was on air. Please remember also, that things are not purchased in the same quanities. For example, something in X-Small may be purchased at 3,000 units whereas something in a medium or large may be purchased in 10,000+ units. It's supply and demand. If you're one of the sizes that isn't the average, you've got to be on top of it or risk selling out. Please don't forget about waitlisting either. It's rare that waitlist items do not get shipped....

I'm a little late but I have tried it (when it was a TSV). I seem to have to try the haircare! :teeth: Anyway, it had a shampoo, cond., the deep conditioner and something else in the kit (maybe). Anyway, yeah, it was pretty cool stuff. With long hair Ojon would be a very good product. With shorter hair, not as needed as the old hair is cut off enough to keep it in very good shape. Even though, I still liked it (I'd use the treatment about once a month with very short hair). My complaint would have been that it always seemed to darken my highlights which I didn't care for.

I love the story behind Ojon product. That presuaded me to buy it. :thumbsup2

Quaker factory (or whatever) sweaters seem a fun choice for teachers esp. who work with kids. Kids love those type of sweaters! (they love pointing out all the pictures--kinda like a 'where's waldo' scene!)

I have spoke on air twice. Once with Ted Leach (of Eterna Gold) so that was an easy testimonial because I love that product!! And once with Rick (yuck) for Weekly Reader TSV children's books!! Love those sets. I used to buy them every year for DD!

As I write this I am watching "In the Kitchen with Bob". I love the cooking shows. Even though I don't cook tons I love all the gadgets. I just ordered the other day a really neat travel crockpot with locking handles and a retractable cord - you can just take it and go. It was so cool.

The UPS man even leaves dog treats for my dogs now - he is here alot. I love QVC. I have returned many products and have never had a problem. Love the Lobster Cakes. Yumm.

My husband gives me a hard time for watching (and buying) all the time, until Craftsman Tools comes on and then he wants me to order something for him. It's very funny. We also ordered recently a DVD Recorder and Food Saver. They really do have quality products and stand behind everything.

I live only 15 minutes from the Mall of America, so I go to the store when I can and get stuff without having to pay for shipping.

I love QVC!!!
