question about the POP
I was just reading on the POP thread that the beds were very hard; than someone said they have been replaced with pillowtops...so, I am just curious what is the take you guys had on the beds...

*I'll try my best to answer this!*
I'm pretty sure only the renovated rooms have gotten the pillowtops... which would be one of the 70's buildings

My mom and I thought the beds were comfortable. I asked my aunt what she thought (she has far more knowledge then us on this topic)

She told me that she thought they were comfortable. She said she knew that the boxspring was old. She doubts they would replace the mattress w/o the boxspring, so she doubts they are new.

Honestly, they weren't as bad as I thought they would be

April 5th
Day 1
Magic Kingdom

After a delicious dinner at CHH, we were out and about again! Our destination? Jungle Cruise!

We hopped right into the FP line, and were seated on our boat in less then two minutes!

*I'd just like to say this now, I've been so used to saying "we have five people" when the CM asks you how many. But, it was SO fun to say "we have nine" we were such a big group, it felt like!*

JC was fun, I think *DayDay* (UD) enjoyed it the most, because, I'm pretty sure that our boat driver noticed his shirt... it was a microsoft x-box 360 soccer jersey, that he felt the need to wear almost everyday that we were in WDW.

So, that put him in a good mood!

After JC we went to get some FP's for... Buzz Lightyear!

While waiting for our FP time, we walked through the Swiss Family R. Tree House:

Rode TTA and took a bathroom break!

Finally, it was time for Buzz! So, we hopped in the FP line, and waited a few minutes before getting onto the ride and shooting up a storm!

Now, who was I going to be sitting with? DC4, David!

We got into our thingy (I have no idea what it's called) and started off!

I got off to an amazing start! I was shooting everything in sight, I was pumped! I always do TERRIBLE at Buzz, I think my highest score was 700 points. Yes. That is how bad I am.

Now, some time in all of this pumped up energy of mine, I turn and look at David. The kid has 0 points and he's telling me how much he hates this game. So, I take a break and help him. Probably get him 300/400 points?

My final score? 32,700! Whoa, was I excited! Until I found out everyone elses scores. They all had 75,000+ There goes my excitement.

We got off the ride and DC4 tells everybody that "I don't like that game no more!" Hehe, I tell him "Really? Because it's my favorite now!"



Poor kid was so bummed:

We rode TTA again:

We decided that was it, and to head back to POP.

Hold on. I need some ice cream first. I requested it, and my "wish" was "granted"

We hopped onto the bus and left:

Sounds like a fun and exhausting first day at MK! Look at little David--Is he asleep on the bus ride back to POP?

Congrats on your high score for Buzz. I kept telling my family how bad I was during our March trip, and I wound up having the highest score I'd ever had....Seems like it was almost 75,000. That's unheard of for me. My husband, and 16 year old daughter always get 200,000-300,000 scores, so I feel plain stupid compared to them!

Can't wait to see where you go on day 2.

I can't believe that I missed you starting your TR! ANyway, time to catch up.

We travel like your parents. We have very few stops while we are driving which seems odd since I do have a 3yo. MY kids don't have to stop often. We stop for one meal since we normally leave at midnight. It's usually breakfast.

So cool that yall kept it a secret from your cousins. Their reactions to going to WDW and seing all of you there with them must have been priceless.

Your first day at MK looks like so much fun. I normally suck at Buzz too, but I figured out where some 100,000 point targets are. I am now unbeatable in my family. My DH says it's cheating because I won't tell him where they are. Cooper still rides around with 0 points as well. He does the same thing on TSM. He spends time looking at the scenery than shooting. He'll catch on eventually. We haven't brought the boys on HM yet. Sam (the older one) is extremely cautious. He'd probably flip out in the line. Cooper on the other hand is dying to ride TOT. That kid has no fear whatsoever.

Yupp, he fell asleep! Not sure if he was really sleeping or just resting, but he was tired!

I know how you feel, I've stopped asking what everyone else got as their scores- I already know it's better then mine

I love driving at night, I wish we would drive down to WDW during the night, that would be fun- to me atleast

I heard of one target that is 200,000 points, but I can never find which one it is. I'll have to look into it a little more

I'm surprised my cousins were so excited to go on to HM, maybe because everyone else was excited about it?

April 6th
Day 2
EPCOT

My dad went jogging this morning around the POP's jogging trail, while the rest of us slept in.

We ate breakfast in the room, and then met up with my aunt, uncle, and cousins- just by opening the door to each others' rooms

The park we decided to go for that morning was EPCOT, so we walked over to the bus stop.

On our way there, we noticed on the big tryicle said this on it:

We got on the bus to EPCOT- it wasn't a Disney bus

They had tons of those kinds of buses, they were really ready for the Spring Break crowds

We got to EPCOT about ten minutes later, got through the turnstiles, and into EPCOT!

Crowds:

First stop: Getting FP's for Test Track, this will be a first for my aunt, uncle, and cousins.
