Quietest ASMovie area-- or is there such a thing?

I am planning a stay at the end of April for All Star Movies-- what area would be the quietest-- I am not concerned about buses or walks to food courts etc-- as we don't mind hopping in the car-- we drive everywhere we go-- my main concern is that I am a light sleeper-- and need it as quiet as I can get-- for example-is a top floor room a better choice? etc--- corner rooms? Thanks in advance--

I would say the Luv Bug Section. We stayed at ASM in October and It seemed to be quite in that section. As far as floor or rooms I am not sure. We were on the second floor and about four rooms from the end of the row and never heard anyone else and I know we had folks above, below, and beside us.

We have stayed at ASMO twice in the Mighty Ducks section on the top floor and never had a problem with noise. At first we were disappointed that we were not in one of the closer sections but found the Mighty Ducks section to be convenient to jump over to the Music's food court and bus stop.

The Love Bug section, 3rd floor, corner room facing the back courtyard. No swimming pool nearby. Less foot traffic.

We have stayed in TS once and MD twice. Each time our room was facing the back, not the main courtyard and we never had any noise. I thinkt he key might be to have a back facing room...and of course, quiet neighbors.

Just be aware that Mighty Duck building is a smoking building. I found this out late one nite when we were checking in around midnight. Yucky smokey room! I find the top floor is quieter as you don't hear footsteps/toilet overhead. I always request top floor for that reason. We also bring a sound machine for white noise and wear earplugs as I also am disturbed by noise.

Actually only 1 MD building is smoking...or at least it was. When you walk into the pool area coming from the Dalmation section, the building to your right is(was?) non smoking. The one to the left is smoking.

You are right. We had a nonsmoking room in MD. Not all rooms in this section are smoking rooms.
