Quiet & cool places to nap at US/IOA

We will be there in early June. We are staying offsite about 20 miles away so it may not be practical for us to drive back to the villa for a mid-day break. Can you tell me your favorite quiet air conditioned places in Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure where my 7 year old could chill out and maybe even doze off? I've even considered heading over to the on-site hotel by City Walk and commandeering one of their lobby couches in a quiet corner. Any ideas?

The Jurassic park discovery center isn't super quiet, but is cool and comfortable and not too bad. Will you have a stroller that she can sleep in? I am pretty sure they frown on people actually sleeping on the benches, etc, both at the parks and in the hotel lobby. I was trying to think of a comparable place at USO, but nothing is really coming to mind, sorry.

If you have AMEX, US has a lounge that you can use. Has complimentary water, granola bars etc.. Real minimal, but it is nice for a recharge.

The Discovery Centre is a good place at IOA. Many of the counter service restaurants have HUGE eating areas where you could find a corner and let your child rest. Circus McGurkis (or however you spell it) has lots of space. You could grab a drink while they rest.

At Universal, Louie's Counter Service has a lot of space. At Men In Black, if you go through the gift store towards the ride exit where they give out the photos, there is a big area with a couple of benches where you could probably sit. Barney's Backyard has indoor space as well.

You can also go to the family services area. They have comfortable air conditioned areas set aside for that very reason. There is one in each park.

While it may not work for the 7 year old, my favorite place to take a break is on the park benches at the back of the Barney show. If you can tune out the show, the park like setting is very peaceful.

When we took the path from the HRH to the parks, the walking path was in the shade, quiet, and quite beautiful. I "think" there were benches to sit on along the way. It's a peaceful and beautiful walk.

Yes and you need proof .That was what they told us in August
