Quickslver at Alamo

Just wondered if anyone had any experience with Quick Silvr at Alamo, I was just about to fill out the Application and wondered if they charge my credit card now or at the time of the rental?

Any other thoughts on QuickSiilver would be appreciated. Never used Alamo before, I got our deal through costco best I could find on a mini-van for Feb.13-22 $470.00 all taxes. I hope they don't add on any extra fees!!

oh they won't let me say quick and then silver together I wonder why?

I never understood that either maybe a web-sight has that name thats been blocked.

But to answer your question I have used the QS with alamo with no problem.

lately I have had better luck with Dollar and the KISS2 code .

I think if you did the Prepaid for more of a discount you get charged right away if not then you get charged at the time of the rental.

Kiss2 didn't work for me, must be the dates.
They want my credit card info on the QS app., i'm guessing it's just so they have all the info and they can process it quicker at the time of rental.
Just from what I read on here about the poor Alamo service at the airport I thought QS would be better, so I don't have to wait in line.
Not sure where I go though, do they have a QS line?

I've used QS several times and it works pretty good.
Yes,they do take all your CC info up front but you card is not actually charged until you return the vehicle (making it easy to cancel and rebook as many times as you want).
You can check-in online several days before your trip and then you can bypass the Terminal Counter but you still have to go to the booth in the Parking Lot (unlike Nationals Emerald where you go staright to the garage, pick a car from the Emerald Aisle ,and drive away).
With Dollar you have to go to the Terminal desk but you can cut down in waiting time by joining Dollar Express.
I've found the best code for Alamo to be the Walmart code.
