Quicksilver - Alamo

I know that National has the Emerald Aisle that you can use if you sign up for that. I have both Emerald card and Quicksilver with Alamo. Does the Quicksilver service work the same with Aamo as the Emerald Aisle with National? Go directly to a QUicksilver area in the parking lot and check out at the gate. Or do you still need to go to the desk at MCO? I know that they have special Kioskes at some locations but I can't remember at MCO. Been a year since I rented at MCO. I tried to figure that out from the Alamo web site but was unsuccessful.

Any info would be appreciated.

haven't used it yet but i'm pretty sure emerald aisle is not the same as quicksilver.
with quicksilver, you still have to go to the counter at mco; they don't have a kiosk. i believe there is a special quicksilver window so the line shouldn't be as long.
i used emerald aisle with national last year and it was great. but this year, alamo's rates are much better so i'll be going "quicksilver" at the end of the month.

That is what I thought. I was checking on rates and deals at Alamo and National for March. There is about $100 difference. So I think I will be going with quicksilver instead. The last time we rent with a code so it wasn't quicksilver. If I remember right, they had just moved into the terminal so there was not special line for quicksilver. I am still hoping that they put in the kiosk or change to something with emerald aisle.

There is no kiosk at MCO yet, there is a special line.

You can rent with a code with QS, not sure what you meant. Just plug in your QS info, and plug in the codes or coupons and bam, you are done.

i made my reservation on the phone with alamo and the woman told me that since i was using a coupon i couldn't use quicksilver. i told her that mco didn't have a kiosk, i'd have to wait in line anyway and she said then i would be able to use quicksilver. sounds like we may be better off without a kiosk since that would limit us on our use of coupons.

We have rented with a coupon and QS and just hand the attendant the coupon when we leave.
