Quickie trip 4/1 - 4/3 '04 Day 3 DTD/RFC

DD – 5 (turning 6!) Loves Mickey, Dumbo & Bambi
DGMa and DGPa-My folks (Celebrating 32nd wedding anniversary!)

Saturday-4/3/04 Sleeping in-no wake up call’s from Mickey today please! We got up around 9:00am or so and kids want to go swimming. It’s very chilly this morning-60 degrees! The kids are crazy but we give in. They swim and splash about for an hour or so. Went to food court for breakfast and then to the room, to shower and pack up. We head over to Downtown Disney for the day. We shop and I let the kids choose souvenirs. We went over to the AMC theatres to see Home on the Range. Popcorn, candy and cokes for lunch-well, afterall, we are on vacation! The movie is cute. We shop some more and put our name in for dinner at Rainforest Café. The dinner was good, a little expensive but we all enjoyed it very much. After dinner we shop a little more, let the kids ride the carousel and play at Lego-Land for a bit. We decide to call it a day and head for home.
We had a wonderful little mini-trip in celebration of my folks’ anniversary and our daughter’s birthday. The weather was pleasant but a bit chilly at night. Bring sweatshirts/jackets for the evenings. We put ours in the locker at MK and got them out later in the evening when it cooled down.
