On a Tuesday morning we'll be entering World Showcase at opening and want to head right to Soarin. What time should we be at the WS entrance (not an early entry morning) and what's the quickest way to get to the Land pavilion to ride Soarin???

If you want to be one of the first to do Soearin', you want to get to the IG very early. Since they don't even start checking bags until 9AM, there will be a long line right before 9AM.

The sortest path is to of course go past UK and Canada. But right after the McDonals stand, there is a path on your left. Take it and you will come out by the Imagination pavilion and then you can go to the Land Pavilion.

That is most definately the shortest way. The path just past McDonald's is the rose garden path, so you can truly smell the roses along the way!

Be sure to score a FastPass before you get in line for Soarin'. I guarantee that you will want to ride again later & they do run out of FastPasses early!
Enjoy! :sunny:

That's definitely a great tip. We did that on our last trip and although 99% of the people in the morning went right on line, we got oursevles FastPasses before we went in. Not only were we able to ride it again later that day, but we also went right by the 120 minute stand by line. And I wish I was making that number up...

I'm just wondering-that's exactly what I'm planning to do (but on a different day). Assuming I walk fairly quickly to Soarin', how long would the wait probably be? Remember, entering from the IG means there are probably going to be a bunch of people already in front of me? Any idea what the FP return times are that soon? And when do FPs usually run out? Late morning? Early afternoon? I'm going 2 weeks from today, so late August, if time of year matters (it probably does).

it's difficult to say what the lines will be then..
when we were there in July (two weeks ago) the fastpasses on most days had run out by 1 or 2 in the afternoon....and the standby line in the evening was up to 90 minutes the last time we looked....

we also took FPs in the morning before riding it....i ran ahead of my family...or rather, i kept pace with the lead CMs and made it to Soarin at the front of the pack.....so i went straight to get FPs...by the time i had them, my family had just arrived and so i joined them in the standby line....
as you can see, i'm the commando....
but all of that effort was definitely worth it...

We were there 2 weeks ago and stayed at the BC. Here's how you get there.....follow the crowd! by the time you see the land, the front entrance crowd will be in front of you filling in every inch of the soarin line. Your best bet is to get a fast pass as soon as you can, because they are gone by 2:00-3:00PM. While there in July, we actually saw the wait time reach 200 minutes...wish I had had my camera with me.
