We are staying at Caribbean Beach... one day we are going to Hollywood studios, but they are closing at 7pm. I thought we'd head over to World of Disney store in the Marketplace. I know we'd have to transfer to a resort first then take the bus, just wondering which one would be quickest?

?Saratoga Springs? If so, how do you get from Saratoga to Market place?

I wanted to avoid going back to CBR because there are a ton of bus stops. Another option I thought was taking the boat across the way to Dolphin/Yacht Club, but I know sometimes they all share busses then stop at Beach Club too.

I think the fastest would be to walk to the baordwalk then take thier bus yes the epcot resort all share the dtd bus but they come so often it wont be a problem. You could even take a bus to saratoga, port orleans, old key west which ever is there and not to crowed and transfer to boat theirs a market place stop. Then going back to your resort just take your resort bus back.

You can take the bus from DHS over to Saratoga Springs; get off at the Springs stop and you can either walk over or catch the water taxi from the pier that is just beyond the Turf Club in the Main Building. You can also take the bus over to POR or POFQ or OKW and then take the water taxi over; you would not be able to walk it.

When you are done shopping, you can go to the DTD Marketplace Bus Stop behind Wolfgang Puck's Express and EOS (the transfer station for the resorts), and take the bus back to your resort.

I would just take the bus to Saratoga Springs since it's the closest resort to Downtown Disney, get off at the Congress Park stop and either walk there or take the boat which goes there.

Thanks... looks like I'll do Saratoga... quickest way.:cool1:

I just didn't want to deal with going back to CBR (like 6 bus stops)... or going to a resort such as Yacht Club that might have multiple stops in addition to going out of our way to another resort. POR took a very long time to get from there by boat to DD.

The bus from DHS comes into CBR at Jamaica, while the bus from CBR to DTD exits after Barbados. So there are only 3 stops on the way: Jamaica, Aruba, and Barbados, and less than 1/4 mile of backtracking. It's probably the fastest way to get from DHS to DTD without walking; the bus from DHS to SSR makes 4 stops around SSR by the time you get to Congress Park (the stop closest to DTD).

Wait -- I could be wrong. The bus from CBR to DHS definitely comes in at Jamaica, but now I'm not sure about the one to CBR, since everything related to DHS buses has been changed around in the past few weeks.

It actually depends where the bus is going next. If it's DHS --> CBR --> MK, then it will enter at Martinique. If it's going back to DHS, or anywhere else except DTD, then it will enter at Jamaica.

This is for daytime service, after 11 a.m.

LOL... I love how much work you put into this. Not a big deal for us... I was just thinking if one way was alot better than another. thx

I usually take the Saratoga Springs bus and walk.

But, you might also try Pop Century as a transfer. I've even heard that the DHS bus becomes a DTD bus when it arrives at Pop, so you won't even have to get off and wait on another bus.

Although, if Typhoon Lagoon is open, there will be a stop there after leaving Pop.
