Quickest way from GF to YC marina and back

What would be the easiest (quickest) way to get from the GF to YC marina if we want to take the Breathless cruise? And would it be a pain to get back to GF after Illuminations is over? Would we be better off to take a taxi back? and if so, how much is it?

On the way there I would take a bus to MGM then walk over. Or monorail to Epcot then walk through the park. The distance in these two walks I think the MGM walk is a little shorter.

On the way home might be able to walk back through epcot ...if not I would take a taxi
