Hey all

I really should know the answer to this one having vistied this park a number of times, but alike to Blizzard Beach were you have an area for little, little ones and then a section for pre-teens (Ski Patrol). Do Typhoon Lagoon have the same?

In the past we have always seated ourselves nr to Ketchakiddee Creek, but as our not so little ones are getting older I cant seem to find an area for pre-teens?

Do they have one at Typhoon Lagoon?

Annette :)

The Bay slides are for kids but I don't think they have a designated pre teen area with much to do. DD was 10 on our last trip and enjoys the wave pool. She has 'rules' imposed on her and I sit where I have a clear view of her from the lounger/chair when I am not in there with her. I find swimming very boring, lol and she has requested we go to BB next time specifically because of Ski Patrol.

We sooo prefer BB to TL but for some reason feel the need to visit both parks during our trips:confused3

The Wave pool freaks me out, even though all ours can now swim I'm still on edge whilst there in the water. It not even enjoyable as I'm too busy making sure there all ok, DH is like "they'll be fine" :scratchin

Sorry to jump in here but just wondering - which park has the best area for little ones (DS is 1) DH loves TL but I havent been there in years so honestly can't remember which would be best.

I personally feel that BB has a nicer designated kids area because there are plenty of loungers and there is shade around for the adults to sit in and it's well supervised and separate as well.

TL has some little splash areas near the wave pool where the little ones can play right where you can have a lounger or chair and is probably better if you have older kids too, but ones you want to keep fairly close by, as you can find a spot where you can keep an eye on the wave pool while sitting with the little tots.

But if you just have a little one, I do think BB is much nicer, both for parents and the teeny kiddos

Thanks a million! :) I'll have a chat with DH but I'm thinking we'll do BB as a definite and TL if we can manage to fit it in!
