Arrived in disney around dinner time so took first night to get acquainted with Pop Century Hotel.

day 1 - ee to AK. Did everything but Dino part by lunch and was pretty wiped out. To bad the rapids weren't longer. Loved the 3d bug show (8 yr old did not) Back to hotel for swim in the pool then out to dinner at Planet Hollywood. Kids pizza was huge. Thought my shrimp sandwich was really good but final bill was a bit on the pricy side. Off to MK to see Cinderellas surprise and fireworks. Love Tinkerbelle.

day 2 - ee to MGM. Fearless 8 yr old liked everything but the rock -n - rollercoaster was out of commission : ( Met Buzz and Woody and LOVE them!!! too funny. Was a little freaked out at the playground because you couldn't keep track of the kids. Left around 2 to go eat off park. Cici's All you can eat pizza, salad, and pasta was a huge hit for only $4.- a person. WOW. Went to check out Blizzard Beach. Hubby and 15 yr. old thought this place was heaven.

day 3 - ee to Epcot and spent entire day. Wish I could have planned better to see the different entertainers in the worlds. I loved the acrobats in China. Snacked on different foods throughtout the world. Faves - the eggrolls from the take out place in China - YUMMMM. The turkey legs, nachos, and england beer were big hits also. Didn't realize the kids making masks could get a stamp on it from each country. We didn't do the mask till half way around the world. Belle is Wonderful!!!! Genie was a crackup. Night show was great but very cold that night around the water.

day 4 - ee to MK. was able to do all the rides in fantasyland within 2 hrs. : ) Left to spend day at Blizzard Beach. Summit Plummit is the ultimate thrill ride as far as Disney is concerned. Had dinner off park at a chinese buffet. Returned to MGM for roller coaster and FANTASMIC - awesome!!!!!

day 5 - regular day at MK. Final day was more relaxed. Queen of Hearts is the Bomb! Loved Mickey and Minnies house - go even if you don't have kids. Cinderella is so into character and sweet. Peco's Bill has the best topping bar for hamburgers and I think is very reasonable. 8 yr old danced in the parade with Goofy : ) and was picked to announce 'all aboard' on the train. Love the way they put mouse ears in the ice cream cones for children.

after thoughts: was a little dissapointed in thrill rides because I'm used to Six Flags style rollercoasters. So many shows it was hard to decide. Didn't realize how much I would like the small world ride : ) Kids really got into the pin trading, penny presses and autographs. Didn't even ask to go into a store. The tickets they give you for pictures after a big ride make great souveiners. Wish i bought something to measure the miles we walked. Will have to slow down next trip and relax.

Wow, sounds like you guys did a lot. Sounds like you all had a great time, though! Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful report ~ Thanx for sharing.

Hi there,

Sonds like a great trip. My 8yr old son and I are going next Fri the 23rd but only have the weekend ! Do you think he will be afraid of the Bugs life or honey I shrunk the audience. He doesn't like rides but likes scary movies. Do you think it will be warm enough for us to wear shorts and go swimming? We live in NH and its below zero here. I can't wait to get near the warmth and sun. Thanks.

usually my daughter is fearless - does all the rollercoasters and stuff. She liked the beginning of the show but there is interactive parts that freaked her out (like when they talk about being stung some kind of prong pokes you from the seat, and something bumps you under your seat when they talk about cockroaches.) Just freaked her out - she doesn't like things crawling on her. I hope you can go swimming. We went almost every day and loved it. There was only one day that was really cold (about 46) right during the 8 degree New England weather. I'm sure you'll have a ball!!!!

Great thanks for the info. I will warn him a head of time but it sounds like a lot of fun !
