HEY! Heading back for a quick trip pre cruise and MUST see MK again - our options are 1 day at MK on a Saturday or to do MNSSHP on the Sunday ( we've done it before) Just thinking lower controlled crowds at the party vs the saturday ? thoughts?

Thanks!

Honestly, we go so much, we’d pick the Halloween party because of the novelty. But if it were just a once in a while trip (every few years), I’d still go with the full day. You can get a lot done with Genie plus. It eliminates the stress of compressing everything to five hours plus the bonus hours before the event. You get a chance at a couple of meals. Wouldn’t be worried about wasting time in things like Carousel of progress and Laugh Floor. Those can be used as fillers diuring a full day. Halloween parties tend to be go go go, get as much done as possible, maximize your time. I have also heard that some Halloween parties get extremely packed, making the presumably lower ride wait times not so short (We haven’t experienced this but we go in September). I’ve always thought this was a difficult scenario to choose from and it’s entirely up to the person and what they want to get out of the experience.

Are you hoping to visit to enjoy the rides, or attend party attractions? We’re not big Halloween people but did enjoy an evening in 2018 where we attended MNSSHP only to ride rides and trick ir treat and we had a great time with lower ride wait times!

Hope this is helpful but I’d like to throw a third option in. We’ve visited in Sep many times and choose party days to attend MK. Our experience is the earlier close time deters many people so we enjoy a full day in the park with lower wait times then leave the park when it closes fir party guests.

Have a great trip!

If you can still get into the park early on the party day (like 4pm?) I'd go with the party. I really enjoy the party so that's an easy one for me. I'd be tempted to get a one day ticket as well for Epcot to try the new rides too...haha!

I'd do the party. Good crowd control and special parade and fireworks. 🎃💀
