Where are your favorite QS Meals at? Trying to get my bearings here as this is our first trip to WDW since 2000 (not a DVC member at that time and did not stay on the WDW grounds). I made a few ADR's today, and added the DDP to our reservation.

I have been reading about the TS meals and the Snacks, but where are the best places to go for Quick Service Meals and what do you get?

Pretty sure we made the right decision on adding the DDP as we figured that one character breakfast and the Fantasmic Dinner and Show would run us about 1/4 to 1/3 the cost of the DDP for all of us. I just want to be sure that the kids are happy and satisfied.

Thanks for you input...;)

At MK we ate at Harbour House and really liked it. We had great sandwhiches. When we went to AK we ate at Tusker House and it was wonderful! I had salmon for lunch and it was great!!

Those are the only two that stick out in my mind. I think that the other times we ate at the resort and found it to be, well, not as good as a park! :rotfl:

Be sure to check out the dining section and look at menu's by park. You'll be better able to pick out something everyone in your family will enjoy.

GL and have fun!!

D-MGM: ABC Commissary was remarkably excellent. We had the curry and were shocked about how good it was.

AK: Tusker House is also a great choice. Fresh, well-made food. Flame Tree Barbecue is pretty good too.

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons has many good choices, and is the best option at Epcot IMHO.

MK: Cosmic Rays is the winner there.

Another vote for Cosmic Rays at MK. :goodvibes My DM and I shared the chicken and ribs combo and it was plenty to eat. Plus my DD7 ate the chicken leg.

Also, another vote for Tuskers House. The salmon is very good. And Flametree is very good too.

And, again, another vote for Tangierine Cafe. We ate there for the first time in Sept. and my DM and I shared the chicken and lamb platter-it was good and plenty to share. We also like the Cantina de San Angel in Mexico. Good food, and a nice seating area by the lake. (Again, my DM and I shared the combo plate-DD7 just had a tortilla and our churro :goodvibes )

Also, I found that the Refreshment Port (McDs by Canada) in Epcot was great. When my DM and I ate at TC, my DD had lunch at RP. I ordered her the 9 piece McNuggets, small fry (could have ordered large), large soda, and for dessert, a McFlurry. She loved it and it was alot of food. (She ate alot of McNuggets on that trip-I don't let her have them very often at home)

MGM-we actually like Pizza Planet. Have also heard good things about Flatbread Grill.

if you'd like.

Hope this helps!

MK- Pinocchio's in Fantasyland. LOVE the pizzas.
AK- Tuskers. The chicken sandwich there is to die for.
Epcot- I like eating in the US in the WS. I forget the name (it's next to AA).
MGM- I like Rosie's.

We don't eat a lot of CS but of the ones we have, these are our favorites.

Epcot - Yakatori House - we love Teppanyaki also!

MK - Frozen OJ from the stand by Aladdins Carpets.

AK - Tusker House expect that it gets very crowded. Good chicken!

MGM - no favs. We usually leave the park for food.

Our favs:

Cosmic Rays MK we had the chicken and ribs and there was way to much food me dh and ds (2) shared this plus some fries.

Epcot we enjoyed the Tangerine Cafe and Yorkshire Fish place (which we took dh's lunch over to Tangerine and ate together at the tables)

MGM was really bad I had some noodle bowl thing and it was terrible no suggestions for here

AK the Flame Tree BBQ place had great food and large portions also.

Thank you all so much for your input. I'm sure now that we made the right choice in going with the DDP. We had at first said no to it, but then started running some numbers on what we would probably be spending per day on meals and this just makes sense.

I really appreciate your help.:thumbsup2
