quick service food and beveraaggeeee

i just got accepted!

what are some cool locations to work at?

If you go on the Disney World website, hover the mouse over to "where to eat", then click on quick service dining. It will show you all the possible quick service locations.
But if you're going to Disneyland resort here's a link: http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/parks/listing?name=DisneylandParkDiningListingPage and http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/parks/listing?name=DisneylandParkDiningListingPage

I know, I looked on there but I wanted to know places that people have experienced lol

I worked at Casey's Corner, and it was fun

I'm looking at two possible places to work at right now. I heard somewhere that working at QSFB places in resorts are slow, which I don't mind if they are. What do you all think of these places:

-Old Port Royale (located at Caribbean Beach): http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=63
-Contempo Cafe (located at the Contemporary): http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=546

If I had to work in a park, I would probably work in Hollywood Studios because I love movies. Does anyone know of any good places to work in Hollywood Studios?

I personally love Starring Rolls at the Studios but that's more because the food. I still think it'd be fun to work at!

I also think it'd be cool to work at Captain Cook's at the Polynesian. They have Tonga Toast and a Dole whip machine there! I guess if you want to keep your job you would not be eating at your work location so maybe my recommendations are silly.

QSFB Fall2010 reporting!

Haha

I have no idea where I would like to be placed. Somewhere 'nice' wold be great haha as I've (don't shoot me) never been to Disney World.

About requesting a place though, would you just e-mail the general recruiter e-mail or ? Who is this "My Recruiter" everyone talks about? Is that just the general recruiter that happened to respond to their question? Or is it the school recruiter?

It means different things to different people.

It could be the recruiter than did their interview and gave them their contact information. In my case, I am referring to the recruiter I work with directly with my school since I am an alumni who works with campus reps and presentations. It could also mean just a recruiter they have been speaking with directly or the recruiter whose name is on their acceptance letter. :)

My roommate worked at Caribbean Beach and she hated it. I don't think her friend liked it either, although I might be wrong.

Although, don't let that discourage you, you might like it!

The Contempo Cafe has a cute uniform!

I was passing by and saw this on the main page of threads and couldn't resist posting...I am old school QSFBH Spring 1999 - All Star Sports Resort! :goodvibes So of course I would recommend you putting that as one of your top 3 but anywhere will be great except for maybe Pizzafari at the Animal Kingdom those costumes are rough.....

Oh! Amazing! Thank you!
It seems I too have a "my recruiter" person as well, based on what you've said ^_^ Awesome.

Thanks your thoughts. I think the Contempo Cafe is my number 1 request right now. What about the All-Star Resorts or Pop Century Resorts? Any opinions on working there for QSFB?

If you want to request a location, you do that by emailing your recruiter (of course, there are no guarantees for requests).

You guys ready to feed Disney World?! Stand up Quick Service Food and Beverage.
We have an important role! We gotta feed all those people with a smile. :thumbsup2

Are there any QSFB locations, closed to CPs? As in, locations we wont be working?

:cool2:Stand Up QSFB!!:cool2:

I leave for the CP on May 19th for QSFB! I called and e-mailed my request to be safe. I would like to work as a cart vendor, in one of the 4 parks. I think it would be more fun than working in a burger place. More one-on-one interaction with the guests. I live in South Florida, so I have built up a tolerance to the hot sun.
