No pix, sorry.
There were 6 of us (four adults, two 4 yr olds.)
We arrived Wed night, the 5th. Went to DTD and at at Bongo' Cafe. Everyone was disappointed with their dinner. The best thing was the pork chop I ordered, and it was only satisfactory. Our server was very nice, though. Everything else was bland and boring.
Thursday, we started our DDP. Paid for breakfast at ASMo. It was decent.
Then off to MGM. We had lunch at the Backlot Express. Three of us had the double cheeseburger, and we all agreed that it was a good burger. My DH had the turkey sandwich and really enjoyed it. The girls at chicken strips.
That night we had dinner at Boma. We were all very happy with that ADR. Even my friend's husband who is picky and not very adventurous came away from there full and satisfied. I think we tried about everything. The pork that was served beside the Prime Rib was excellent.
Friday, we went to MK. Started off at the Bakery with a yummy chocolate croissant and cappuccino. My friend had the huge cinnamon roll, which I kind of regretted not getting. We were both very happy, but how could we not be? BTW, coffee at the ASMo.. meh. Then we had lunch at Cosmic Ray's. My husband and I shared the rib/chicken combo. It was pretty good. Had a Dole Whip! WOOHOO! My first one, and it was so good. Hit the spot, for sure.
That night we had dinner at Marrakesh. It wasn't spectacular, but not bad. I had the shish kabab, and in comparison to other Middle Eastern restaurants, it wasn't that great. I thought it was bland. My one friend had the same thing, and he was in the same opinion, and his DW had the Night In Casablanca, and thought it was awful, but I had some of her chicken and thought it was good. I think she just doesn't like those type spices. Her first time eating that kind of food. My husband had the Feast, and thought it was mediocre. We eat this type of food quite often, and while it wasn't great, it wasn't bad.
Saturday, we went to AK. Ate at Pizzafari. I thought the pizza was really good. Here is my major complaint: WHY NO PIZZA ON THE KID'S MENU??????
It's the most idiotic thing I came across while in WDW. It's the reason we went there. I wasn't about to order a PB&J at a pizza restaurant for my kid. We shared ours with her.
That night: Dinner at Le Cellier. Now.. I love a good steak, and they serve a great steak. Cooked perfect. The risotto was very good, too. Happiness all around at Le Cellier. The creme brulee... most excellent. I'm sad that I can't just drive down the street and go back. We all got the same dish, so I can't express how anything else was. That cheese soup was very yummy. The tuna app wasn't awesome, but still pretty good. I should have opted for the soup.
Sunday, snacked on something.. can't remember.
Had a late lunch at Tangerine Cafe. Very good. Got the shwarma platter. So full after that we had to cancel Biergartin.
Made up for it by drinking lots of stuff. The dark beer in Norway was very good. The Guiness was awesome. And that Lemon slushie from France! WOOHOO! The Hibibi in Morocco was ok.
Since we skipped our last TS, we went to Capt Jack's in DTD for lunch yesterday. YUCK. I had the shrimp pasta and it was overcooked and dry. My husband had the crabcakes, and it was too breaded. NOT GOOD.
My friends ate at Crystal Palace on Sunday night, and they didn't enjoy it. We ate there last year, and we did enjoy it. So who knows.
Anyway... that's my short review. Not very detailed, I'm sorry.
