I had all the best intentions of getting to some new spots for meals- unfortunately our whole party got sick at various times of the vacation so a lot of those plans went to the wayside... we kept a few but here was our original list - many we missed:
The party- me, my mom, ds6 and dd2
Dining Plans:
Monday arrive:
Dinner at Earl of Sandwich

Tues:
Breakfast Crystal Palace
Dinner Tokyo Dining

Wed
Lunch Tusker House
Dinner- Boma (didn't make it)

Thurs
Lunch- Hollywood and Vine
Dinner - Wolfgang Puck Cafe (did not make)

Friday-
Breakfast- storybook Princess / epcot
Lunch - CS at Epcot
Dinner - Kona (did not make)

Earl of Sandwich did not disappoint= it is always such a good quick spot to grab something. We would have gone to WPE but it was under refurb. The original for me, beef and blue for mom and pizza ones for the kids

Crystal Palace- Food was good- it was pretty empty. The did lose our ADR when we checked in and it was awhile before we noticed everyone who was online around us had been sseated and we asked. Character interaction was a bit slow- EEyore never made it to us in the hour we were there but we skipped out anyway. Food was actually the best it has been in awhile.

Dinner at Tokyo Dining. It was so pleasant. We had a 5:00 ADR, and were seated right away. They really did a nice job with the spot. The waitstaff was efficient and friendly. We ordered miso soup, edamame, and the the tempora sampler for some appetizers. DS and DD shared the kids platter of chicken terriyaki which came on an adorable monorail plate, with veggies and rice more than enough for two with those appetizers. Mom and I shared some sushi rolls- spicy tuna flakes, cali rolls and some eel. It was a quick meal (which is great with kids) but not rushed. I would certainly go back. Only downfall- no DDE.

Wed Morning- bfast in the room and off to AK for rope drop
Lunch at Tusker House - it was a toss up between here and Yak and YEti. I am so glad we kept it at Tusker. What a great meal. Something for everyone. The curry chicken, vegatable samoas, hummous and cous cous dishes were my favorites. The kids loved all the spices, and the different offerings. If you had less adventuous diners- there is a kids section, roasted chicken, mac n cheese, corn dog nuggets- you get the point. Service was good- food tables were easy to get to and not backed up. I noticed quite a few people with allergies going around with the chefs so I would think it would be a great place to go if you had allergies.

Wed DInner was supposed to be Boma but the first casualty struck. We ate at the buffet at Shades of Green instead. Yikes- it was pretty bad (although not as bad as H&V ). It was country fav night- lots of cheesy food, creamed corn, fried chicken, bbq ribs and beans- lots of jello. You get the point. I am sure some people would be happy with this- but I don't really eat like this so ... service was fine and the price was right- 15,oo per adult including beverages.

Thurs Morning- breakfast in the room to be at MGM rope drop
Lunch at Hollywood and Vine Playhouse Disney lunch. I had done the breakfast there before and while the food was not great- the characters were so I braved lunch. What a mistake. This was the most inedible food I had all trip. It was down home type cooking but I swear if i see one more cheesy potato type thing I'm going to be sick- did Disney run out of recipes? There was some seafood alfredo which tasted like the hudson river, bbq meatballs, flank steak salad bar and some cold cuts. I also thought it was really pricey for what it was- 60 for 3 of us with the DDE. Characters were good- but this time it did not make up for the food.

Dinner was supposed to be WPC but lost another party member so Dd and I went to the MK and grabbed some counter service. Pinnochio village haus since we were in fantasyland. Mac n cheese for her and figaro fries for me.

Friday-
Storybook breakfast at Epcot. We had Belle in her yellow dress greeting, and princesses were Mulan, Sleeping beauty, snow white (who was a bit snippy) and Ariel in her green dress. Food is fine, standard fare. My kids loved their food- eggs, sausage, bacon and more of those darn cheesy potatoes. The cold buffet had lots of nice fruit, pastries and some cheese. All in all it was fine- great way to see lots of princesses. I do think it gets expensive- another 60 plus meal even with the dde.

Lunch was CS at China. I happen to like the potstickers there. We had some potstickers, egg rolls and some fried rice among the 4 of us. It was a meal- nothing more, nothing less.

Dinner was supposed to have been Kona to try out the new menu. DD2 and Mom were sick so I took DS to MK for dinner and the parade. Once again back to PVH (which by the way is my least fav CS in the park- but we went for location.) We both had ppizza. As long as you know if isn't going to be real pizza- it's not bad. IT was easy to carry and eat on the parade route. I'm not a fan of anything on their menu so it really didn't matter what I ate.

Thanks for the reviews! We also had some meals sidetracked by the affordable but utterly forgetable SOG buffet!
