quick reply needed JETBLUE flight changes

Is there a fee to change your flights? I have always flown SW and never had an issue, but i am in the process of booking flight and a fare info pop up stated that there is a fee to rebook of $50? is that true? or should i just wait for Sw. Our dates are not carved in stone, but if a deal comes out and we want to change our flights, when would they apply a fee and is it per person

True and per ticket. I would not book unless I knew they were flights I wanted. I got them to waive the fee once but it was within 30 minutes of booking. I must have clicked something wrong on the site and ended up with the wrong flight. I called and they changed it for me without the fee. If they change your flight time and you call and tell them the new time is not acceptable they will usually change without the fee. This happened to my sister. She was traveling with a toddler and booked the cheapest fare for that day. The flights changed so she would have a 3 hour layover and she called and they put her on the very expensive non stop with no extra charge.

The cost can be as high as $100!!! JB doesn't allow any changes to be made. I had to book my dd's flight many months after mine. She got good grades on her final report card, so she gets to go to WDW with me in Dec. But I had already made my reservations with JB a few months prior to her final grades arriving.
I called JB last week to see if there was some way to tie the two different reservations together....that way if a flight got changed, we would be moved together vs two different reservations ending up on different flights. Nope. I was told that if I did that, I would have to cancel and rebook the flights, with a change fee for each reservation that was changed. It would have cost me $200 to make that change.
I'll just keep track of the flights myself for that kind of money.

The standard Jet Blue change fee is $100, $50 if the flight itself is less than $100, plus any differences in the new fare.
