Quick question from a resort newbie

When do you make requests such as room location?

You should have it added to your reservation by calling Member Services. DVC has asked members not to call or fax the resort.

We put our requests in about a 4 or 5 days out. It seems no matter when you put in your requests there is a good chance they will not be on the reservation when you check in. You should ask about them when you check in.
