I have been really looking for a pair of flip flops to wear while walking the parks and I am going to take everyone's suggestion about Teva Mush flip flops. I *do* have one question..... Does the in "between toe thing" (not really sure how else to put it) rub against the middle of your toes after the 3rd mile or so ( lol) and start hurting??

I just hate wearing sneakers and need an alternative and my usual $10 flip flops at Target don't do the trick for WALKING. - they last about 30 minutes.

I haven't had this problem with the Teva Mush flip flops. They don't rub me at all. I love mine.

I haven't had this problem with them either. In fact, in the heat, I found them more comfortable and causing less blisters than sneakers and socks.

I am the queen of foot troubles and I can say, NO the Teva Mush was comfortable, even between the toes and I am very picky about my flip-flops. I mush have arch support, straps that will not stick when damp and cause blisters on top of my foot and comfy toe thingies. No problem there.

However, 2 comments:

1. My daughters and I (all around 6 feet tall and having long feet) found that the toe box area in the size 10 is a lot longer than our toes.

2. Maybe as a result of number 1, above, we all found our heels stuck out over the back edge a bit, though not enough to be a problem. Since my true size is a 10.5 and that size rarely exisits in any shoe, with flip flops, I tend to order a size down and do fine. However, if I get another pair of these, I would go a size up instead.

The flip flops that were the best for me at the parks were the Teva Katavi! OMG they are wonderful. Great arch support and soft like slippers. Maybe not stylish, but with my feet they are great. And oddly, I did not have the issue with the extra length in the toe box area with these. I wear them all the time now!

This is actually why I like Teva Mush flip flops - the toe thing is soft.

No problems here, mine were comfortable. As far as sizing, they say you should size up. I found this out after I ordered a size 9 ( I am a 9.5), so next time I will be ordering a size 10 !!

I am a Reef flip flop fan, but bought my first pair of Teva mush Friday. I wore them all day today and the toe part did not bother me however, the foot bed rubbed my foot weird compared to my reefs. So if you get a pair wear them around before your trip. Also, they are annoyingly sqeaky. Please tell me that the squeak will someday stop!!!

I have a new pair of Tevas that I have been breaking in for the last few weeks and haven't had any problems with them. As long as you wear flip flops from time to time you should be fine in them.

I love this flip flops and wear them everywhere, I just got a new pair a week ago and have been breaking them in before my trip next week. I have no issue with the toe thing, however I will state I have an unusually large gap between my big toe and 2nd toe. (that might have been too much information)

btw the squeaking does stop after a while.

I had the opposite issue.

I'm a true 10 -- always wear a 10. I ordered my Teava's in a 10 and they are slightly big. I would have done better with 9.5 but I ordered them online and didn't feel like dealing with sending them back. Since they are flip flops the 1/2 size big doesn't bother me as much as it would for athletic shoes.

Tevas are quite comfy...BUT ANY flip flop can rub between the toes if you are not used to wearing them.I wear them all summer, but at the beginning of each season or not wearing them awhile I find that I have a short period of "getting used to them" ..I would definitely wear them a little before heading out to the parks for an extended stint

Just a question, I am looking at ordering these online from a Canadian retailer (MEC), and am wondering if there is a big difference between mens and womens. I wear a women's size 11, but they don't carry it, would i be safe with the equivalent size in mens, or would they be the wrong shape for my foot. I know sometimes they are a lot wider.

I prefer the mush olowahu style...and no there is no uncomfortable rubbing. But I do use a blister stick on my whole foot anyway just incase.

The Teva Mush are my favorite flip-flops! They do not bother my toes and I wear them all the time and take walks in them around the house as well! I love them!!

Who offers the best price for Teva's? :)

I ordered mine from shoes.com. I buy the olowahu, and got them for 19.20 with shipping. They are normally around $27.
I also got my daughter a pair of the mush flip flops from amazon for 14.89 with shipping

I have found that any flip flop with a cloth thong toe is much more comfortable than a plastic thong toe (like the old navy flip flops). I also like to go look at them in person and make sure that the seam of the thong is on the outside and not facing/rubbing my toes. That seems to help with the comfort. I just bought my first pair of Teeva's at REI. I like them, and I've worn them a lot already. They're taking a long time to kind of form to my foot, and they're real slippery. I watered my plants the other night wearing them, and I felt like I was going to slip on the sidewalk. I guess I just need to break them in a little more.

The Teva Mush flip-flops are my favorite flip-flops ever! I dont wear any other kind. At this point I must own at least 5 pairs of these! Everyong in DH's family thinks I'm crazy for wearing flip-flops in the parks since they all wear sneakers but I never have a blister problem with the Teva Mush Flip-flops.
