I thought I remember reading here that with the 2008 plan credits are lumped all together - meaning they no longer distinguish between Adult and Child credits. Is this correct? Does this apply to TS meals as well, or only CS meals?
Thank you, that is a big help. We are bring our niece and sil in October and this is our first time dealing with child credits. We are DVC owners so they are only coming part of our stay, but the DDP has to be purchased for the full reservation, so we weren't sure whether or not we'd be able to use the 'left over' credits.

No, that's not what I was planning. I was thinking that if they are going to have 9 CS each, and are only going to be there for six days, that will be 6 CS meals left over that DH and I could then use for breakfast a few mornings. Which I don't think would be a problem because I was under the impression that you could use your credits however you wanted - meaning three CS in one day and three TS another if you wanted to. Is that right?

I'm not sure if I'm understanding this thread or not. Does this mean that if my kids don't use a CS one day, can I use it for maybe my husband's breakfast at the resort food court the next day? We had the DDP the last time we went and if my kids didn't use their CS's, we used them for their breakfast the next day. If their credit could be put toward an adult meal it would be a better deal since they don't eat much.
I'm just trying to run through all my options of things since I want to eat at more TS's than I have credits for and can't decide if paying OOP or upgrading to deluxe would be the way to go.
Disney's policy is that child credits are intended to be used for children's meals. As this thread appears to be discussing ordering adult meals with children's credits, I am going to close it. The DIS doesn't advocate going against Disney's policies.
