When typing up the wordind I wrote it as:

Disney's Boardwalk Inn (or is it Disney's Boardwalk Resort? Boardwalk Inn Resort? How did you write it?)
Sea Breeze Point (Point or Pointe?)
Lake Buena Vista, FL or Orlando, FL?

 I'm soooo confused!!!

I am sure you can check the Disney wedding site for the proper SBP speling...I am not sure.

The mailing address for the Boardwalk is:

2101 N Epcot Resorts Blvd
Lake Buena Vista, FL

And it's Point (the only one with the "e" at the end is Sunset Pointe;) )

I also put

Disney's Boardwalk Resort
Sea Breeze Point
Lake Buena Vista, FL

Lake Buena Vista sounds so much nicer than just plain Orlando anyway. :thumbsup2

It's funny 'cause Lake Buena Vista was originally named "Reedy Creek" hahah which sounds so much worse.

This may seem like a silly question, but why is it called Lake Buena Vista instead of Orlando, Florida?

The City of Orlando technically ends at the outskirts of Disney Property. If you remember, south of Disney is the City of Kissimmee. So basically Disney World isn't actually in Orlando.

Also, see the wiki link above. :)

Also...the resort is actually called "Disney's BoardWalk Resort" (The "W" is upper case.) You will find that a lot of people miss that but it's technically the correct way to write it in Disney's unique way of doing things!
The "Resort" refers to the entire complex but it's made up of the Villas at Disney's BoardWalk, Disney's BoardWalk (the actual boardwalk entertainment area), and, Disney's BoardWalk Inn (the "regular" hotel side of the resort).

I think for my invites I might just say Orlando Florida eben though its incorrect. I don't think my guests are that in tuned to Disney to understand that, I think I may confuse them even more!:rotfl:

We used "orlando" as the location upon recommendation from DFTW. Since we have so many out of town guests and so many who are not familar with Disney World (a lot of first time visits!), we thought it would be the most familiar to say orlando as most people know that as the name of the area. It kind of made sense because Orlando has the closest airport and it's a popular destination in itself for the other theme parks/entertainment in the area. We didn't want people to have to google map Lake Buena Vista to see what city it was closest to.

I'm sure either way it will work!

This is what I was thinking but you put it into better words!:thumbsup2 I can see my guests getting confused and asking so where is Lake Buena Vista? I thought Disneyworld was in Orlando:laughing:
