I know this is kind of a silly question but how do you cook cabbage? I have a head of cabbage I am going to make for dinner and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to steam it, boil it, break it up, leave as a head, or what. Thanks in advance to anyone who can solve this great mystery for me .
Very true, and I'm feeling a little bit guilty since no one else will eat it and they will be making comments about the "smell". I'm still making it for myself, though .
Shred cabbage (or slice thinly) and saute it with a bit of oil and water in the bottom of a frying pan....don't let it get too wilty. Add butter and caraway seeds, salt and pepper.
