Quick question about check in at disney

Quick question that im sure someone will be able to answer, if we arrive at a disney hotel early morning say around 8am, can we still check in and get our DDP and tickets even if our room isnt ready? We would like to be able to hit the parks on that morning and enjoy use of our DDP untill our room is ready.

Yes. You can. Your tickets actually activate the moment you go to the first park. And you can pick them up at 12:01am if you wanted to. You can also have bell services store your luggage for you and it will be in your room as soon as it becomes available and they can deliver it there. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Make sure you pack a change of clothes in your hand luggage for when you arrive though. That means that you can have a quick change (use the shower block by the pool for this or if you can manage in a cubicle in the restroom) That way you will have on fresh clothes. I always feel grubby after a flight so even if I can just change my clothes I feel better for it. Plus if they are in your hand luggage you don't have to open your suitcase in the middle of the lobby.

As goofypop said get bell services to store your bags and once you do get your room you can call them to deliver them to you.

I have heard others say that they have had to call but we have always found our luggage to be in our room when we get to it that evening. We may have been lucky to not have had to call for it though.

If you do online checkin, there's an option to tell them what time you expect to arrive - if you let them know you're checking in at that early hour there's even a chance your room might already be ready. We've had very good luck with this.
