We are at dlp sun 2 - thurs 6th June and thinking of eating at walts.
Someone has mentioned it may be closed Mondays and Tuesdays out of high season (is that not june!?) and that the last booking may be around 3:45

Just wondered if anyone could confirm these for me please before I ring to make reservations.

It was closed on Monday and Tuesday during February half term if that helps. I would ring to make a reservation and they will tell you if it's available.:coffee:

Thanks for your reply.
I was hoping to find out for definate before I ring as ringing from the uk is expensive and if the information I received is correct then we can't eat there and I will need to choose a different restaurant to make a reservation at instead.
Finally getting round to looking at menus online.

I tried to make reservations at Walt's for our trip June 17-19. They told me it was closed the 17 & 18, a mon and tues. And that it wasn't open for lunch on the 19th.
Hope that helps!

tracy if you call Disney dining reservations from your UK landline it doesn't have to be expensive - use a discount dial number first for France and it only costs 0.5p per minute.

High season at DLP is July - end of August.

Thanks for confirming that for me, seems it will be the same for our trip.
Do you happen to know if walts are ever open for evening meals later than 3:45?

Thanks for that. Sorry to be be dumb but do I just google it to get a discount number for France? And would I type this number in followed by the uk dining reservations number straight after?

what time is the parade in the evening? And is there one in the daytime also? So I know when to avoid for reservations. Also what's the name of the restaurant where you can see one of the rides (or you're in the middle of it, sure I read something along those lines)

There is only one parade in the Disney Park which will be 4pm if the parks shut early or later if they are open later.

Blue Lagoon is the restaurant you are thinking of it is set in Pirates of the Caribbean

heres the 0.5p number -

0844 200 90 90

the instructions are in english, so when prompted, use the number for the disney dining service 0033 160 304050.

Blue Lagoon is the restaurant inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
In June the main Magic on Parade will be at 7pm and Dreams is on at 11pm, park closing time -

Thank you, so I didn't imagine it then! That sounds really cool, my son would love that.

Thanks for all your help :) I've made a note of the number and shall ring this week when I've decided on restaurants. Am I able to make changes to the times etc. when there if needed?

How long does the parade last? I can't wait to see it. Is it best to eat afterwards, if so what time, would it be about 8 for eating?

yes, you can change dining reservations once you've made them, either at City Hall or at your hotel reception.

The parade last around 25 minutes, so if you want to eat after it, in the park, 7.45pm would be good, 8pm if you want to eat in the Village.

Hi we go June 10 and I have booked Walt's for the 13 at 9pm. I was advised that as park open until 11pm restaurants in park open until 9.30 (last entry)....I booked blue lagoon for 9pm on the 12th. Good luck

Is it worth booking tables in the morning? Since I don't want to book somewhere then we decided we can no longer get there etc. can you book a table at the entrance? Is it advisable to eat after the magic on parade?
I guess we'd need a restaurant close to the castle in order to get a good spot for dreams afterwards? I've never been there, so I'm not sure how big the place is. But I take it its bigger than Alton towers....

You can try booking once you arrive, but you never know if there will actually be anything available. We don't like having to book in advance, not knowing when/if we'll be hungry, or what we'll be hungry for. But better to call and make reservations now before you go, and have somewhere to sit and eat, then to chance it, find everything booked and have to settle with counter service and still wait ages. ;)

Depending on the time you book (I think Magic on Parade is at 7 now?) should you opt for Walt's and by chance get a window seat, you'll have a great view of the parade down Main St, right below. I don't know that it matters where you dine prior to Dreams! As people will begin holding spots an hour or more ahead of time.
