I'm a long time DVC member, but we haven't been to WDW in a few years! And back when we did go, we had APs. Ah, life was so much easier then. (Also, dd had just become a teen. Now she's 17 and it's one last visit before college next year!:scared1:)

Anyway, we have an AKV 1BR for 3 nights in December. And a night at All Stars Movies the night before that.

What do I do with tickets that will allow me to book FP+ at 60 days? Do I have to purchase the tickets through Disney? I figure I can attach them to the ASM reservation if I need to. But... they are a lot less expensive through UT. Will I lose the ability to pre-book if I get them that way?

Thanks for a quick answer. I've looked through the forums, but didn't see an answer.

You need to have park admission linked to your MDE account in order to make advance FP+ selections. As long as you receive the actual tickets (or a Disney issued will call number), you can purchase your park admission from any authorized reseller and still be able to make advance FP+ selections. UT mails out actual MYW tickets.

You also need to link your room reservation to MDE (if not already) to be able to make advance FP+ selections beginning at 60 days from check-in.

You might also want to checkout this link over at DVCMember.com (log on required to view):
