Quick Poly concierge ?

Can anyone tell me if Poly concierge lounge has juice boxes or is it poured into glasses? What about milk...cartons or dispenser?

Hi. We were there in June. The milk is poured from decantures but the Chocolate milk is in cartons (you have to ask for it). I don't remember seeing any juice boxes, but I didn't ask for any. They have many items that are kept in the back. We often got the chocolate milk and Diet Caffeine Free Coke and bottled beer at night. I would suggest asking for anything you want. It can't hurt and they might be able to get some for you. They are very nice and willing to help. I've seen people fill up plastic bottles, etc to take into the parks. Nobody cares or takes notice. I sure wish I had brought some small ziplock bags to take some extra snacks (like the goldfish crackers) into the parks with us!

Yes they do have juice boxes. I saw someone else with some so I asked and they got them from the back. I wish I didn't have to ask - I wouldn't have known if I hadn't seen others with them. Same thing with the choc milk cartons. Don't know about white milk.... I didn't even know you could get DECAF diet Coke!! I would have preferred that!

We were there in August...and only knew about the "guarded" items because of the boards! I do remember them having white milk in the back as well as yogurt and beer!

I didn't know about the yogurt either!!! Why are these items "guarded"? I missed the yogurt - they do have it out at the CR. I wonder what else they are hiding?

I ate oatmeal every day and that got old after 6 mornings....

The people that worked in the lounge weren't always around to get items out of the back, either. Sometimes it seemed like they stayed in back. I felt like I was putting them out when I asked for Juice boxes.

I think I will still pick up some juice boxes and milk on our way. I don't want to feel uncomfortable asking for them often, as both our our boys are drinking machines!

Don't feel bad about asking for them. I was there in August and I asked for 4 boxes of apple juice just about every morning for my crew. The CM would put them in a bag for me to make them easier to carry .

Tell me more about the yogurt, please! I always miss my morning yogurt when we are there. I agree, I get tired of the same old breakfast each morning since we usually stay one--two weeks each trip.

I also have to say I wonder why they keep stuff in the back that you don't know about so can't know to ask for.....?

My dh would enjoy a beer each night while I have my wine or Kalhua, but would probably not like to have to ask for it night after night. Why have it if you don't tell people about it--how will anyone know to ask?

Is it acceptable to ask for these things from the back day after day?

Oh, I totally agree. I would love to have yogurt and DD have a juice box to take back to the room in the morning and hubby would love to enjoy a beer while I am sucking down my evening glass of wine!! I agree with someone who posted earlier, it doesn't hurt to ask! All they can say is no.
