I went through and edited the pics and added borders. I don't see us printing them out as traditional photos so I left them in 5x7 mode.

I'd like to make Xmas cards and photo books (but not through the Disney site) down the road. They sometimes have odd sizes. Can I leave the photo CD with all pics in 5x7 mode and still do these things later when I have the CD?

You can certainly do that but some of the automatically generated books may crop the pictures in ways you don't like. If you use a photo editor, you should be able to work around it.

Depends. If you have borders on them at 5x7 and you want to print them as 4x6 then you need to save them in that size. I learned this the first time I did a CD. I've done quite a few CDs now and I think this is the most important tip. If you don't save as 4x6 and print them as 4x6 then the border will be trimmed on 2 sides-you won't be able to fix it.
