Our dd is starting the College Program in Sept. We've had a trip booked for Thanksgiving week for awhile now. So....I'm 'trying' to make ADRs for that week. We have no idea what meals she can do with us. I wanted to book Thanksgiving dinner for three, just in case she can join us. But, if she can't, will be be able to get in with just two of us? Or, will they turn us away because we booked for three but only have two in the party.

You'll be fine booking 3. They don't penalize when you show up 1 short.

You will be okay. I have had to add a guest or two when I was nto sure if they could join us. There is usually not much chance of adding on as you get closer, and I am not one to show up asking to fit one more in. WE had to do this years ago when my DS surprised us with a visit, and as nice as that was, I worried at every TS meal we had planned that we would not be able to add him.
