Quick note on the photo CD

On Saturday we got the CD from our Backstage Magic Trip.

The presentation from the last night of the trip was on it.

And every single picture both guides took during the tour, over 800 of them. You don't only get the ones with you in them, but every picture of every adventurer.

So, without having to pay extra, you do get all the pictures the guides take. I'm sure there is something on the Photo Pass site we can buy (i'll check that our later), but you don't need to buy anything extra to get to pictures.

We (DW) had a great time Saturday night re-living our adventure.

And, no, I'm not posting 800 pics in Photo Bucket, although as time permits I might add a few more.

The PhotoPass site does have a book with the ABD logo on the front and ABD themed pages on the inside. They are really nice books and a fun way to keep just your favorite photos easily available. You can use the photos from the CD, and you can also upload your own.

We were told on our recent ABDs (just got back yesterday) that it will take 4-6 weeks for the CD to arrive.

We returned from our trip on June 27. We received our CD a couple of days ago. (less than 2 weeks!)

I wonder if it's faster for the local ABDs? Our guide specifically mentioned that on the last dinner. Oh well, we will see.

Ooh, I hope ours come fast, too! . Maria also said "4-6 weeks" but I'm sure they have to cover all contingencies, or some of us (and you know who we are ) would be calling to find out when they're coming!

On the first day, she said they'd be taking pictures for us, so that "people like Kristina [she put her hand on my shoulder here] will be in the pictures and her kids will remember she was on the trip." So true!

It's one of the best ABD perks, IMHO. Loved the show on the last night and can't wait to share it.

I was so thrilled to receive our CD! I didn't realize all the guides' photos were also included. Since we had two guides and two "shadows", we ended up with over 1100 photos! We've narrowed it down to 100 of our favorites and will be making a photo pass book! . What a great perk! ABD thinks of everything! Can't wait to travel with them again!

Well, in just 10 days after completing our Greek Odyssey adventure, we received the DVD today!!! I guess they say 4-6 weeks so folks won't be impatient about it. This is the fastest we have ever gotten it!!!

We got our book last week. I used a combination of pictures the guides took and some of my own. It is a great final treasure (we did have to buy it, it is not included) from a wonderful trip.

We LOVE the way our book turned out!!!!
It took a bit of time, as our dd wanted it "just so", but she did a great job. It was a bit pricey, but it is double the standard pages. . I agree, it is a "great final treasure from a wonderful trip"!
