Quick luggage questions...

On our first cruise we flew to Port Canaveral so we got tags for our luggage and they took them at the airport and disney did the rest all the way until they showed up at our state room and then took them again and we pick them up when we got off the ship. This cruise we are driving to Galveston, so are we getting tags in the mail for our luggage? Do we take it on broad with us and roll it around until our stateroom is ready? Do they still take them at the end of the cruise or do you leave the ship with them? How does the luggage process work when you drive to a port?

You still get luggage tags but you check your main luggage with tags with the porters at the port. I think you can drop it off and then park. You take your carry on with you like you did when you flew. At the end of the cruise you get luggage tags, put your luggage out the night before, pick it up in the terminal, go through customs and take yourself and your luggage to your car. I think they have a process where you can pick up the car and come back to the terminal to pick up luggage and passengers. That's what we did when we had a rent car at PC.
