Quick Kid's Meal Question

I have a VERY picky 13 yr old dd. We want to try some new table service restaurants but the adult menus will not work for her. Will she be allowed to order off the kids' menu? TIA!!

Yes. You will have no problem ordering off kid's menus at TS restaurants. At buffets, however, you will be charged the adult price for her even if she only eats food from the kid's portion of the buffet.

At some TS they will not permit anyone over 9 to order off the kids menu. It really is hit or miss. Sometimes it's the server. Generally, by explaining your situation they will help you out by either allowing her to order from the kids menu or making something special for her.

That's good to know. An appetizer is a great suggestion!! We are going next year and both of our dds will be ages 10 and up. Maybe they could share a meal?? We have one dd who will eat almost anything and one that will eat almost nothing.

My 13 year old DS always ordered off the kids menu during our last trip. He's definitely a VERY picky eater. No issues with any of the wait staff.

We did have to pay adult price for him at Whispering Canyon and they gave him the kids skillet, but wouldn't let him substitute fries for the mashed potatoes. He didn't eat much there. We should have ordered him a regular meal but I didn't want him to feel excluded!
