Quick FASTPASS Question

I thought FASTPASSES were only given to people staying on Disney property. I just read the following on Allears.net...

Can Anyone Take Advantage of FASTPASS?

Absolutely! Any park guest can use FASTPASS. You do NOT have to have any special tickets or be staying at a Disney resort hotel. FASTPASS is available to EVERYONE without an additional fee.

Is this a somewhat new policy or has this always been the case? Just curious.

Nope.

Anyone entering a Disney park, using any kind of valid ticket can use the FP system.

It has always been that way since day-one of Disney FP's.

The only things that require you to be staying on site to use are Extra Magic Hours and having purchases delivered from the park to your resort.
