I'm not sure I totally understand your question, but here's what I take on it. Points can be used for merchandise and food at the parks (most locations) as well as with the Disney catalog.
1 point = 1 dollar

You can redeam them for Disney merchandise at the parks, Disney store ( or on line), or for resort stays.

Personally, I think this card is a "dog". 1% is nothing when you compare it to other rewards. If it weren't free, I'd cancel it. I have a FF card that I use all the time. I average about 1 free domestic ticket a year.

I agree. I have stopped using mine and plan to cancel it, I'm waiting for my reward card to come in the mail.
