Quick Disney Visa question - need fast answer

I have to charge my deposit for my rooms today to keep my reservation. Do I get more reward points (more than the normal 1%) for a Walt Disney Vacation Company purchase? - it's room ONLY - not a package

Otherwise I am going to pay using my American Express to get my reward points.

Unless you've received any special offers for extra points, which I have never seen for Disney travel, you just get the usual 1 per dollar. You do get 0% interest for 6 months if you charge your entire trip to the Visa. BTW, I just put my deposit down too!

I called Chase and after much discussion and being on hold for a long time I got the answer that no, only disney online store is running a bonus rewards promo right now.
At first the repsonse I got was yes from them, but after questioning the gal more she put me on hold and then came back and said no.

I need to know about the Disney rewards from Visa too. I have 71 points--what will that get me. I'm planning a trip in early March--can I use it for a Disney resort? How long will it take to get it and can I book on-line through the Disney web site?

Well, the $71 points equal $71 dollars because it's a dollar a point. So, if you want to use your Disney dollars for your resort, you can. For me, I have a Chase Disney Visa online account where I keep up with my statements and pay my bills and I know from that site I can order my rewards card. You have to order a Rewards Card to get your rewards dollars. NOw, as far as once you get the card, I don't know how you use it. So, if anyone has any further info on where you go from ordering your Reward card, I'd love some more info! Haven't done it yet.

I had no problems using the rewards card at the Belz Outlet stores, Pleasure Island (including drink booths), and of course, the regular DD stores.
