Quick Banking question

Good morning!

I have 297 points in my Feb 2013 use year. I am planning a DVC trip for February 2014. I am assuming that I need to bank these points into the 2014 use year, then I can book for my Febuary trip, right?

I have to bank, then book, right?

and remember that once you bank or borrow pts, you cannot undo that transaction.
