I have to go shopping and I am burned out on Mac and cheese and hot dogs. Any ideas to wow the 2 and 6 year old? Any help is appreciated.

what about "stuff" in tortilla wrap?
take a 6" tortilla (the small one), wrap deli meat/cheese/lettuce in it and cut in half. most kids like that.

or make PBJ on tortillas.

my new breakfast favorite is a tortilla, smeared with PB and topped with honey nut cheerios...yummy.

what about grilled cheese?
some 'healthy' chicken nuggets in the frozen food secion (i think weaver makes fat free ones...breaded, not fried)

baked potatoes (nuke in the microwave for 9-10 minutes, or use the "potatoe" button which I love) top with broccoli (if they like that) and some shredded cheese.

You think they would like tacos? We like these as much for the construction as for the eating. Since I have discovered Boca ground burger, making these has never been easier.

My kids love to make homemade pizza. They each make their own with whatever toppings they like and they are so proud to eat it.

Oh...pasta!

All kinds of shapes and sizes, including favorite cartoon characters, but the ziti and linguini shapes can be fun as well.

Add tomato sauce, meat sauce, alfredo sauce, or just plain butter and parmesan. You can slip in some slivered vegetables and some chopped meat as well if you like.

Be sure to declare a "no manners expected" night once in a while so they can slurp the long stings up and stretch them out to see who has the longest, etc.

Another favorite is sloppy joes.

Check out familyfun.com for lots of great kid-pleasing ideas.

Thanks for the good ideas! DH and I will be so happy when they like Indian food. Until then at least I have some ideas.

DD loves noodles right now. Pasta Roni has tons of different flavors and very easy. Its one of the only things she eats that she'll pass on the french fries for. :D
