I read somewhere that a lot of the Universal lines are out in the sun. When we went several years ago it was winter so I wasn't paying very close attention to this particular detail.

Now we are planning a late August trip :cool1:, and would love some feedback about which lines are brutal in the sun, and which ones people recommend to find shade.

Thanks in advance! :goodvibes

I can't think of any lines that aren't mostly in the shade under an awning or inside. Except maybe Pterondon Flyers and a few water rides. We went in October and had Express Pass, so I wasn't paying 100% attention to all the queues.

Maybe if Gringotts has a super super long wait, some of that line is in the sun. But even at 120 minutes it was all shade. Same with parts of Hogwarts Express line (leaving from Hogsmeade).

ET, simpsons, mummy, twister, Terminator, horror make up show, shrek, DE, MIB, quite a few with waiting with shade [ at the studio a/FONT]

Unless the lines are very, very long, most of the time the queue lines are inside. And if they are outside they are in the shade. Many of the attractions with outside lines will have covering over them. Universal does account for the fact that in July and August there are 90 degree temps.

fans are usually on and blowing during those heated times, in those lines.
doesn't save you, but does make it tolerable.
