Queston about late check-out

Hi,

We would be using the magical express in the spring when we go to disney and I was just wondering, if we took a later flight but had to be out of our room by 11, is there somewhere we can store our luggage? We won't have a car to store it in and we don't want to have to sit in the airport all day. The other option I wondered about is late check-out, is there such a thing?

We just got home late last night from Pop. We were out of our rooms by checkout deadline (11am) and since we also used ME we took our luggage to have it stored as our flight wasn't until 8:45pm. The luggage storage area at Pop is outside right by where you hop on/off the ME bus.

In two small carry-on sized bags we packed a towel and washcloth from the room plus a change of clothing and shampoo/soap. We ran around the parks all day and when we got back we retrieved only the two smaller bags and showered in the bathrooms by the Hippy Dippy Pool (flower shaped one). This way we weren't rank and sweaty on the flight home. (And yes, we turned in the hotel owned towels )

The luggage guys are so super nice and the luggage storage area is air conditioned -- all of our stuff was cool to the touch when we retrieved the rest of the luggage. Just be sure to tip the guys!!!

BAGS, Inc just got TSA approval to check in international passengers. It's not clear how long before RAC starts handling international passengers. I don't know what airline you'll be flying but it's possible you'll be able to check your luggage at POP.

Have fun we do this every trip . Just make sure you leave enough time to get back,them to get your bags and get on the Bus.

We have never had any problems and have stayed at most of the resorts.

I would like to request late check-out. I was told by the CM that we would have to wait until the morning of our last day to request late check-out, IF it would be available. What are our chances that we will be able to get late check-out during the last week in September? Does POFQ have the luggage holding area as well? We are going to visit friends in after our Disney stay and will be getting a car rental for a few days. If we wait to get our car rental until 2:30pm, we can avoid having to pay for three days of car rental instead of just two.

All resorts have a luggage hold area.

Whether you can get a late checkout depends on how many arrivals are expected the day you are leaving.
