Hi just back from WDW and have got to start planning again for next trip and am thinking of including the cruise. So I have a few questions:

1. Do Navigators verandahs count as verandahs for smoking and is smoking on one of these less objectionable to neighbors than a regular verandah since they are partially enclosed? I really don't like to bother any one else with my smoking but the verandahs are the only places to smoke, so are any locations better to request than others like the stern possibly?

2. Having just come back, I know I just cannot go to Orlando area without going to the parks. So I would like to know whether the 3 day sea/4day land is a good way to go also considering that I have never been on a cruise before and don't know if I am the cruise type. Do you 3 day cruisers feel that it is just over too soon for the trouble?

I think the 3 day would be fine if you want to get a taste, but you could also consider doing the 4 day. We added an extra day at the parks since 3 days is just not enough!!

I would guess that you can smoke in the Navigators verandah, but I am not sure.:earsboy: :earsgirl:

3 days are definitely worth the trouble, we have been on 3 - 3 days , 1 - 4 day and are doing another 3 day.
We can only usually manage to get away for short periods of time and thoroughly enjoy the "break" we get by taking these short cruises.

Yes, you can smoke on the Navigator's verandah. My wife used to smoke, and we've never had complaints about smoke from our neighbors, but that might be a product of timing as much as anything else. I do think that the "navs" would inhibit the flow of smoke to neighboring verandahs somewhat.

Hi!

The first time we went on the 3 day cruise and it was not long enough! We "graduated" to the 7 day and had a great time. If you'd like to get a taste for cruising try the 4 day. The last time we went to the 7 day cruise we went without going to WDW. Never again! It is hard to go to Orlando and not go to WDW! Somehow, the experience is not complete! Especially flying from California.

This time we'll spend 4 nights at CSR and then off to the 7 day cruise!

I have done the 3, 4 and 7 day cruises (as many here have done.)

I will offer this advice to you--if you want to do the land/sea combination, do at least 4 days at sea. The 3 day cruise is just too short, but is fine for a "quickie" cruise once you have experienced the cruise and know what to expect. If you start out with the 3 day you will likely miss a lot because it just goes by so fast and you will want to do as much as possible.

Try the 3 night land/4 night sea package to see what you think of cruising.

Be careful--once you cruise you will likely become ADDICTED to cruising ::yes::

I thought the 4 day we took was WAY to short so no way would I even bother with the 3 day cruise.....we ended up doing 10 days at Disney and then 4 on the cruise..next time we are doing the 7 day cruise only and then after that a week in Disney and a week on the cruise...

yeah, 3 days might be too short in some people's opinion (mine, too!), but 3 days is better than none.
Also not everyone can afford 7 day cruises with lots of days at Disney too.
Then there are people who can not take 7+ days of vacation all at once, or take a lot of days off during the week. We have our own business and can not get that many days away, so we opt for more "long" weekend vacations instead of mega day vacations.
So I guess I am saying it just depends on your circumstances, I would love to do 7 - 10 day cruises but it ain't gonna happen for a while. Until then I will be enjoying my quick get aways aboard the Wonder.
