1.) If you have a group of pictures that could go in more than one scrapbook, do you do 2 pages the same, do you do 2 different pages or do you do one main page for one book and then a smaller version with less pics for the second book?

Next 2 questions are similar. 2.) I have LOTS of pictures of our motorcycles, friends motorcycles and trips we've taken. What kinds of paper would you use other than actual HD paper (which I have, but not many different designs.) Would you embellish them alot of just a little and would you just stick the pics on the pages in more like a photo album look? 3.) We also have several pics of our/family/friends tattoos. What kinds and designs of papers would you use? There are no embellishments/stickers/anything that has to do with tattoos. Most of our tats are related to things we love, (not just flash art in the studios) so would you embellish them or use stickers to go along with the theme? I would love to make a scrapbook to show them all off, but I'm not coming up with any ideas even after thinking about it for about a month.

Thanks for any ideas!!!

1. I scrap events in all of my girls' books, most of the layouts are similar, sometimes there are a few different pics and its easier just to copy what I already made. :)

2. I would just pic a few different colors that coordinate and use them throughout the album. I've done this with a road trip album, i used blue, green and yellow for everything and embellished with a few printed papers and stickers that I had picked up.

3. Same as #2, I have seen some more tattoo-ish, looking paper a few times, but some of it, is kind of pin-up, old school tattoo type. but i would def just go with a color theme throughout.

First off let me say, I'm more of a plain & simple scrapper. I want the pics to tell the story, not the paper.

For the tattoos I would mount them on plain cardstock that compliments the colors of the design. I would also include a journal box with the story of the tattoos. That is what I have done with my 3 tattoos and my DDs tattoo. DDs tattoo is black and white so her page is black and white. The background is black/white stripes (very narrow stripes) and the photos are mounted on black & white mats.

For the motorcycles ????? What about using strips of the HD paper for borders????

I have no idea about the motorcycles... so I am absolutely of no help there!

As for question 1: I scrap for 3 kids and the family.. .so if it's a big event like someone's birthday I have a LO for the family book and then I specialize one for their book... recently I have been using the same photos but different LOs.... or sometimes I will just use the same LO but different papers and embellishments..

If it's an event that all 3 kids are involved in, I do a highlight page in each of the kids' book and the family book....

I too am a simple scrapper in that I want my photos to be the focus of my albums... not so much all the embellishements.. although I do include them, I just don't like to overwhelm the page...

thanks for the help everyone! I tend to over think things so hearing what others do really helps me decide what I'll do! I am a simple scrapper too. Mostly pictures with a couple of stickers/embellishments or whatever, and not alot of fancy stuff. I take LOTS of pictures so I like to have as many as I can have on the page without it looking cluttered. Glad to know others like that style and mine isn't silly looking.;)

My DH hates when I get a hold of the camera!
2008 Disney trip we came home with over 3600 photos on the cameras and that did not include the 250+ on the photo pass......
DD is just as bad.. for 2 soccer games of DS14's this past April she took 600 photos...

I like to use Becky Higgins sketch book and/or sketches I find online to include as many photos as possible on the pages.. I need to start collaging more photos too to double even that amount of photos!
